We have just spent the Easter weekend at this wonderful cottage - 4 adults and 2 children under 6 years old, and I have to say that Joel & Gaby’s place near the new forest is absolutely fabulous. Very spacious and ideal if you are looking for a getaway with a hot tub and table tennis in the garden. The cottage is in a great location, about 10 min drive to Paultons Park with peppa pig world so an absolute must for kids. It’s also not far from the new forest itself and Lyndhurst town. It was really tidy & clean, with a well equipped kitchen and bathrooms stocked with fresh towels. We were left a lovely gift on arrival of fresh bread, milk, eggs and a bottle of Prosecco which was an absolute treat! I couldn’t recommend this cottage more - thank you Joel & Gaby we had a fabulous time and would stay again in future.

We loved our stay! The cottage is beautiful, and even nicer than the photos. It has a very well equipped kitchen, v comfortable beds, big hot tub. The decor has lovely, and tastefully done. Beautiful garden. All furnishings were good quality. We were very happy here. We can’t wait to return. Thank you

Had a great time at the Wisteria Lodge - very clean, hosts were very friendly and was perfect for a quiet getaway from the city. Would recommend!

We had a very lovely stay at the cottage. It was exactly what we wanted. The cottage is absolutely beautiful in a gorgeous setting. It was so peaceful and relaxing. There is so much wildlife around which was beautiful to see. There is plenty of room and the hot tub was amazing. Keith is an amazing host and nothing is too much trouble, he was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending this place and would stay again.

We had a fantastic stay, lovely location with beautiful scenery. The local pub did great food and very friendly. We did day trips to Bournemouth the New Forest for a couple of walks. Would highly recommend this place for a fabulous cottage which felt so much like home with lots of places to visit near by!

We have had a wonderful stay . Julia and James are fantastic hosts , always there to help and offer guidance. The cottage was fabulous. Very quirky , cosy and unexpectedly quiet (due to the central location) . We slept incredibly well. My husband especially enjoyed sitting in the garden in the evening with a glass of wine listening to the water feature. We didn’t use the garden room as only 4 of us but looking to book next year as it would be a great room for the grandparents. Thank you so much James and Julia. Stayed for 4 nights in this peaceful ‘Hideaway’. The views were amazing and the hosts were really helpful - we even booked a reflexology treatment. The home had lots of amenities (tea, salt pepper etc) and there were lots of books/maps to read on the local area. There were beautiful walks on the doorstep and our dog enjoyed the enclosed garden. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely time. Love the location. Perfect for walkers. Inside was light and airy. Bed was very comfortable. The animals were happy and friendly and the area has lots of wildlife. We enjoyed going for walks and visiting Hungerfords Elaine's for lunch. Look forward to visiting again.

Had to move myself and two small dogs out of my home at quite short notice for some works to be done. Found this beautiful little cottage in the grounds of a family home on the Goodwood estate that looked perfect. Small, private and secure enabling me to set up to work within a few minutes of arriving. Carol was super flexible, enabling me to move in over my lunch break and provided easy to read instructions for a seamless move. The place was just as described and spotless. A welcome basket was provided with local bread, butter and conserves, chocolate and biscuits, as well as, should you need them, lots of ideas for local places of interest to view. The dogs and I had a thoroughly rested stay, was able to work without interruption and were able to enjoy the secluded and private garden with some friends who came to visit. It was lovely to be met at the gate most days by two friendly hens. The cottage represented exceptional value for money and I would highly recommend.

What a great setting for an escape to the country! I already miss waking up with the chickens and pigs to greet me every day. I also saw more wild animals and birds in my walks around here in a week, than I have in years in London. Auriol is a great host, relaxed, knowledgeable and friendly, and the property is exactly as described and shown here. Tips for other travelers: If you’re a light sleeper bring an eye mask and earplugs as it does get sunny in the main bedroom. Looking forward to returning here!

Bar an issue that was resolved - the stay was lovely. A very nice cottage with all the things you would need to have a pleasant stay. We actually walked from Petersfield and managed without a car [so definitely doable]. Location was perfect for us - with lots of walks and the pubs weren't too far away. Elizabeth gave us a lovely welcome and it was obvious she really cares about her guests and their enjoyment. Would happily stay here again.

Great stay in a very quiet and peaceful village. Great dog walking from the door. Sun room and lounge an excellent place. Host very helpful, even got a tour of the village and learnt all about the history.

A really great house for our New Forest visit. Managed a couple of very enjoyable gravel bike rides along the coast and through the forest. This is a great base for exploring the forest.

Great little find! Loved the outdoor space where we were able to sit and have food with family. Log burner was lovely in the evening and made it even more cosy. Shower was hot and powerful and the kitchen had everything we needed. Will recommend and will definitely book again

Lovely place to stay, plenty of space. Bedroom an especially nice space. Good bathroom, with advantage of an additional downstairs loo. New Forest was beautiful and the cottage is in a really good spot. Surprising downside, an old fashioned, non smart TV. DVDs were supplied, but this did seem a strange oversight.

It was such a lovely stay at Lucy and Nick! Everything was perfect and all the family so lovely and welcoming. The cottage, the surroundings, the animals, the region, .. I will come back soon for sure!
