We had a great time and loved the space. We saw a moose nearly every day just a few hundred yards west of the property.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. Our main goal was aurora watching, so a comfortable place to rest between late-night outings was a must. The apartment more than fit the bill! We felt cozy and right at home. Everything was clean, the hot tub was always warm, the breakfast items were much appreciated and we enjoyed the games and entertainment options. Brendan and Kelly were excellent hosts. We would not hesitate to return or to recommend to others!

Hot tub was amazing! Definitely would recommend having AWD or 4 wheel drive if you are visiting in winter. The roads up to the house are not cleared. We managed to make it in & out multiple times in a minivan, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Definitely take note of the hosts average response time. They were great, but didn’t respond to messages between approximately 7pm-10am local time. We experienced some issues with the heat during our visit but host did what they could to make our stay comfortable. Not too many tasks to do when checking out which was great! Very nice home. Seems to be well equipped for families.

Amazing stay, out of the world Hospitality and completely felt like a home away from home. One of my favorite stays ever. It was a very spacious cottage with very cozy vibes. Colleen wasn't around but had her friend Stacey to help us with all we need. They're both incredibly helpful (yes even Colleen although she wasn't around). It was a remarkable stay and I thought twice if I wanted to leave a good review and be selfish by gate keeping this gem but honestly.. They deserve every single star available. If there's a reason I ever come back, this place would be one huge one! Oh.. Not to mention, I caught a spectacular Aurora right outside the door on the very night I arrived. This place is a lucky spot!! ❤️❤️

Great stay! Located on the eastern side of Fairbanks, it was only about a 10 minute drive to the airport. There was a miscommunication with the garage code key, but the host was very responsive and helpful. Every morning provided a beautiful and scenic view over the river. Some mornings we enjoyed this view from the hot tub. The upstairs bedroom is very nice and spacious. The downstairs bedrooms were simple and sufficient enough to accommodate four of us. The downstairs bathroom is a bit small to share but we made it work. The living room provided a comfy and spacious environment for the whole group to relax in.

The yurt was amazing! So cozy and clean and had awesome views! Colleen was incredibly responsive and even alerted me when the Northern Lights were expected to appear! The description of the yurt is incredibly accurate and the directions to the address were clear. The location is great for aurora viewing and for getting to some of the recommended viewing sites. It was so cool to stay in a yurt and I would highly recommend Colleen's place to anyone visiting the Fairbanks area.

We loved Colleen’s yurts and really appreciate all that she does to keep them in great condition for guests. The view to the mountains was clear our first night. It was a bit cloudier the second night, but we still had a great time cozy inside. The drive up is definitely challenging in the winter, so if you can minimize that you’ll likely have a better stay.

I enjoy staying there. Quite comfortable everything I needed...

It's a beautiful area. The cabin overlooks a large lake. There are other small cabins on the property but they were vacant during the winter. My wife and I went up for a few days to try to catch the Aurora. It was great because the living room has large windows that look out over the lake. There were no trees obstructing the view so we could see a large portion of the sky. There is also a large deck for when they really started dancing across the sky This place beats others we have tried because we didn't have to get In a car to drive to an open area. The co-host was very responsive and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. We loved the feel of it being a cabin as well.

Definitely a nice little getaway from North Pole. Perfect little space to just unwind and unplug. The outside shower was probably my favorite part if I’m being honest. Loved getting to meet the owners. ❤️ we will definitely be back.

Mari was very helpful and attentive during the booking process as well as during the stay. Her place is so quaint and beautiful and if you are looking for a piece of paradise with a true Alaskan feel then this is the home for you. Conveniently located to many winter activities and beautiful places !!

We had a wonderful stay at Huffman Manor! There was so much space to spread out. Host provided little extra touches like chargers on the bedside tables and a full supply of spices and condiments to cook with. The house served as a peaceful retreat for our vacation. And we were lucky enough to get a little glance of the Northern Lights right from the property. If we find ourselves in Fairbanks again, we would certainly try to stay at Huffman Manor!

Absolutely beautiful cabin, all in perfect state, including modern and functional kitchen appliances. Great stove for a cozy living room area. Deck is fantastic for meals or going out at night to watch the sky. Bathroom/shower works perfectly. Instructions very clear. Fantastic stay.

Danny was a great host! He even offered me tickets to a local hockey game. The little Cottage was exactly what I was looking for. It was private, has all the amenities, a comfortable bed, and very clean. I would highly recommend.

I like this simple little place, out of town but not too far out. I’m a simple man and I like a basic no frills place to stay. It’s a good spot for single persons to stay. Moses is my go to when I come up to Fairbanks.

I booked the cabin the day of that I planned to stay and had absolutely no issues at all getting it set up and ready to go. Jamelle was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. If you’re by yourself or with a friend or partner this is an awesome place to stay in Fairbanks. It’s definitely small but you can tell that from the pictures. There’s plenty of room for your bags downstairs and the sleeping loft has plenty of room for two people. When I return to Fairbanks I plan to stay again.
