This was our second stay at The Lost Crab. My son and husband enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake. The sunsets are beautiful to watch from the back porch on the swing. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We will be staying again if available. Felt right at home!

Awesome, relaxing place. Right in the middle of the sites we wanted to see. The coffee maker was broken but they were there within an hour with a new one. Highly recommend the stay and look forward to being back in the future.

They were so helpful in finding the place and trying to get us checked in early! Love the house, it had a few of the lake in every direction! Beautiful place!

We loved our stay here! The cabin was adorable and in a great location. Very peaceful but close to town. The host was communicative and kind enough to accommodate our request for a late checkout. I also appreciated that there were not outrageous cleaning requests before checkout like some airbnb's have. We hope to come back and stay again in the future.

A nice and clean facility. There was ample room for our party of 11. This was our second rental year at the Blue Heron Retreat. For the rental cost, the ample space, and the cooperation from our host, Linda, it’s the best to fit our fishing needs for the week. We are already scheduling for our third year in a row. Our group has come to the area for over 20 years. This has been our most favorable for cost and meeting our week long needs.

We had an absolutely peaceful vacation. The property was quiet and so very beautiful. We needed some rest and relaxation and we got it here. We cooked every meal, the home had everything we needed. We loved the fire pit and swings. We enjoyed the lake. We even had a few friendly dogs and a great big sweet cat visit. The only thing I can come close to being negative about was, it’s super dark coming in at night and it’s hard to see. A street/yard lamp would be nice. We would stay here again anytime we visit the area. Best Airbnb we’ve ever rented.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy wood cabin. It’s in a remote location — peaceful, quiet, and walking distance to a beautiful canyon. Even though it rained during part of our trip, the outdoor setup was perfect. We were able to relax on the covered patio and even barbecue without any problem. The cabin itself was charming, well-equipped, and ideal for 2 to 4 people. It was the perfect little escape and we would absolutely come back!

My husband and I came here for our 7 year anniversary. It was lovely and peaceful. I love the imperfections of the old cottage and its cleanliness. The hot tub, kayaks, and views are lovely The kitchen was adequately stocked and beds were clean and comfy. Shower was large and hot and the washer and dryer were very helpful! The house was stocked with everything needed. We will definitely be back. The town of Mentone was just down the road and we loved the areas. There was even a gas station at the end of the street that was very convenient as well! No regrets! Just a lovely vibe and great getaway destination!
