We stayed here over spring break with our young kids. Tommy and Janet were very friendly and responsive. The location is great! Literally right across the street from the beach, and close to our all time favorite brewery :) we'd love to come back again in the summer months!

Great place located walkable to the Boardwalk and the entire Beach. We loved have the grocery store a block away and walking everyday on the Boardwalk.

House was great! Small but not too small and perfect for vacation rental. Med sized dog, husband, and toddler loved it. Kenzie leaves you everything you need from a raised double dog dish to dishwasher and laundry pods….awesome attention to detail. Pics don’t do it justice as more outside and living room seating have been added. Fire pit was really cute and everything to get it started and have a fire were there even though we didn’t get a chance. Reasonable driving distance to VA beach, zoo, and playgrounds. Food easily accessible both driving and walking. Grocery store is close drive but don’t forget your butter. The corner store sees you coming! It was super clean well done and would love to stay again. Thank you Kenzie for being a great host!

Responsive even before I booked. As pictured. Accommodated 5 of us very comfortably. Friends stayed one half block up I liked our place much better!

We enjoyed our vacation at this home very much. the description was accurate and the house very clean and well organized. We had to reach out to the host a few times and they were extremely responsive in a timely manner. The location of this house is awesome, grocery store and restaurants are just a short drive or walk. We enjoyed the 2nd story hot tub and the beach access was very convenient. The large recreational room on the 1st floor kept the kids entertained!! Overall, we had a fabulous week at this home and it was perfect for our large family.

This place was perfect for the kids and parents and grandparents. We enjoyed our stay here walking distance to the beach was perfection. It was so peaceful, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the downstairs yard & patio area. We didn’t get to use the bbq grill but next time we stay here we will. Beautiful home. Thank you

My family of four had a great stay. The house is perfect for young kids, with plenty of space for everyone but easy to keep an eye on young ones. No stairs or extra stuff around to keep them away from. The fenced in backyard was great to have. The house is as described, stocked with essentials, and very clean. Douglas was a helpful host and even delivered a corn hole set after we asked about it from the listing photos. In my opinion, the neighborhood isn’t an attraction itself but the location is convenient to get to places across the area.

We really enjoyed staying at the golden hour! The hosts were very responsive and helpful! They had sound machines in every bedroom which if you have kids is a big deal. The toys and kids activities there were a big hit! The pools are pristine and the whole outdoor area is very nice! Very short walk to beach which was also convenient! They literally thought of everything, if you forgot something chances are they had it! Definitely recommend staying here if you have children and want a nice low key place to stay!

Excellent location with a quick walk to the beach. The house was super clean and well maintained. What we liked most, was the nicely fitted kitchen with anything we needed to prepare and cook meals- pots, pans, utensils, flatware, and silverware. It was one of the best we have experienced. We also appreciated all the beach gear available to use, such as chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys.

5 stars in every category! This house has everything you could possibly need, and you can’t beat the location. The pool, games, beach gear and fire pit were great and the bikes were a great touch and made exploring the area much more fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the future.

Great place to stay! Hosts were kind and responsive to any questions we had. The home was very clean and children friendly. I really appreciated the built in child gate on the top floor. Bathrooms and showers were great, including an outdoor shower to rinse off after being in the pool. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Plenty to do nearby, seaside beach access was a short car ride away, and the pool was private and relaxing.

Martin’s place was BEAUTIFUL and SO clean! Very roomy and beautifully decorated with all the amazing attention to details! The wild horses that came to visit the property were so beautiful and fascinating to watch! I will absolutely be back and 1000% recommend Martin’s place! Martin was also an incredible host with his attentiveness and even talked me through driving on the beach since it was my very first time ever driving on sand… I was terrified lol But he was able to calm me down via the phone and I got there safe and sound with no issues! Awesome stay!! 😁

Place is great, the beautiful sunsets every evening the sitting outside on porches just watching listening to water. Great location, minutes from everything. The elevator spoiled us loading/unloading luggage and groceries. Natalie is quick to respond to any problems that might arise. Don’t hesitate to book this place will definitely be back.

Overall very nice stay at Stephanie's home. She was excellent at communication leading up to the visit and during the trip as well. Had everything we needed and the beds were really comfortable. The location is very close to the 4x4 entrance to Carova which was super convenient, and the main reason we stayed in this area. But it was also close to restaurants, walking distance to the beach, and lots of activities nearby. The house itself is spacious, and the pool and hot tub were great to have for kids and adults alike. The home is showing some signs of wear and tear (decks, furniture, floors, paint) but honestly that's to be expected in OBX homes. Salt and sun aren't kind to upkeep! Thanks again, will consider Stephanie's home for next trip.

Our stay at Small Dream FantaSea was nothing short of amazing. Kevin and Joan have thought of everything and our family immediately felt right at home. Packing for our trip was so easy, given how much was already at the house (towels, chairs, sand toys, games, soap, detergent, toilet paper, etc.). Our girls loved rides of the golf cart and we were at the beach or at the shops/restaurants in no time. We love how close we were to Central Park and made many visits to play cornhole or go to the playground. This was our family’s first trip to Cape Charles and it certainly won’t be the last. We are so grateful to Kevin and Joan for all they do to make it a great vacation!

The walk to the beach was so quick and easy. We traveled with two kids 5 and 8 and the walk back and forth had zero complaints :). Kids loved the hot tub and the super cool shower on the first floor. The decor of the home was beautiful. The beach had a magical low tide for kids to play in and the locals were supper friendly. The house is right up on the highway so at night it’s pretty noisy. We just cranked up our white noise machines and on the second night no one noticed. Thank you for opening up your home and letting us create some more great memories.

The kitchen had everything you would want. My grandkids loved the video games. The closets were so large my grandkids called one of them their secret fort. We all had a wonderful time! This was our first Airbnb experience. We will definitely try again.

I’ve been at many Airbnbs all over the world, and Heidi’s Airbnb is the best we’ve stayed at. It wasn’t just the beautiful view… it was all of the thoughtful touches throughout the home that made it feel more like home. It was very well stocked with quality items. Lots of towels and kitchen items to comfortably live for a few weeks or more. We stayed 24 nights and we were sad to leave. Heidi was always available to resolve any issues that came up. We were there for a stressful competition, and it was a perfect place to recharge. I hope I have the chance to come back. Also breakfast next door and Mexican across the street are so convenient!! I wanted to move there! Thank you Heidi for everything!

Our family enjoyed our weekend at Big Blue. It was special because it was my wife's birthday and there was plenty of family with us. We really liked how the 2nd and 3rd floor are duplicates of each other. It's like 2 different apartments , but we had access to both. The kids on the 2nd floor and the adults on the 3rd. Very clean open spaces. The host were responsive and proactive. We hope to make the Willoughby Spit area a regular vacation spot, very lovely.

Yun was very responsive and very accommodating. The house was everything we needed for our family trip! Great location, walking distance to everything you need at Virginia Beach. I would love to come stay again whenever we come down to visit again. AND pet friendly with is a BIG PLUS for me when it comes to road trips like this one!

We loved staying at Katherine’s, everything was just as described. Lots of room and activities available on and off the property. Comfortable and relaxing, just what we were looking for. I would highly recommend this property.
