Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. This cosy country cottage within the village of Chew Stoke is perfect for a couple or small family looking for a getaway, walking distance to Chew Valley Lake, a short drive to Chew Magna with its award winning pubs and restaurants and equidistant to Bristol, Bath, Wells and Cheddar. There is a king size bed upstairs, large wardrobe, and bathroom with shower and bath. Downstairs the living room has a real fire with wood burning, oak floors, smart tv and sofa bed. Well behaved dogs welcome.

The Vault

The Vault is a really special space, which we hope you can see from the photographs. It is a basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. It is quiet and cosy with underfloor heating and an ambient temperature all year round. This property is very central, making it easy to plan your visit. We are very close to the harbour and the property is on the famous Georgian Square, Queen Square. It feels like you have stepped into a film from Jane Austen as you come out of the building.

There is 1 double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, open plan sitting /dining room and bathroom. Surrounded by countryside this is a truly peaceful place. Perfect for couples or individuals to explore the beautiful Chew Valley and Mendip Hills and the cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells. The Beehive is next to our family home with access via our garden. Once the family home to a circus ringmaster, this bohemian touring apartment has been lovingly renovated by Arcadia’s creative team. The spacious yet cosy Showman’s opens onto a private terrace with breathtaking views over a woodland canopy and Chew Valley Lake. There is also a private hot tub which can be booked before your stay for an additional cost of £70 for a session.
