昌子さん and staff were amazing! they took good care of my vegan diet and we were able to communicate via Line at all times. The place is beautiful, the onsen peaceful, and the surroundings are just something else. I totally recommend and would come again if I ever want to ski or trekking in Japan

Lovely hostel in a great spot less than a minutes walk away from a stunning view of Mount Fuji, breakfast was recommended at a cafe at check in for a great price and was lovely food in the morning. Very clean shared spaces and a lovely place to spend a night near the mountain! Would highly recommend

A nice accommodation, with a lot of equipment in the kitchen like fresh coffee, snacks etc. The check-in was very flexible and smooth. We were able to reserve a free parking space before checking in. Also the receptionist was very friendly and had a lot of good tips for restaurants and activities in the area. All in all a great and good value stay if you don’t want to spend too much!

Traveling to remote mountainous locations, well away from the bustle of a city can be daunting for travelers. However, the incredible team at Kakurinbo Buddhist Temple is exceptional in every way. They truly made our trip to Kakurinbo quite incredible. Saeko, Sho, and the many other wonderful team members are special in their ability to help you feel so comfortable and at home in their temple accommodations. We are eager to return for sure.

Absolutely incredible. From start to finish the best experience I’ve had on Airbnb. From included transfer to and from the station to the house. To the amazing hospitality from Tohru and his wife. They made you feel so at home, with their friendly conversation. I have never met two people who were so jubilant with happiness. A complete utter privilege to be staying with them. If you do not book here you are missing out. Thank you again so much Tohru and please pass on our gratefulness to your wife as well.

Kazumi was lovely and extremely helpful. We had plenty of questions and she went out of her way to help us. The location depends on what you're after. For us it was perfect as there was still snow there late in the season. Thank you so much for all your help Kazumi - much appreciated!

One of my favorite places I stayed during my time in Japan. Waking up to see Mt Fuji was beyond amazing. The host was super responsive when we had some difficulty navigating the area. I would definitely love to stay here again!

Tres beau logement type petit hôtel au bord du Lac de Kawaguchiko. Si vous avez de la chance avec la météo, la vue sur le lac et le mont Fuji est juste exceptionnelle, visible aussi de la salle commune, de la terrasse en bois et du Onsen. L'établissement est situé à quelques minutes à pied du parc Oishi et ses beaux parterres de fleurs, très photogéniques. Quelques cafés, commerces touristique et restaurant, mais si venez ici c'est pour trouver le calme, c'est le côté le plus paisible du lac. La ligne de bus redline vous emmène vers la gare en passant par le bord du lac. Il est possible de louer des vélos (attention, seulement un avec siège enfant...) et de commander un taxi via la réception. Les hôtes sont très réactifs et aidant via l'application, disponible à votre arrivée pour vous présenter l'établissement et votre chambre. Les chambres sont spacieuses, entièrement en tatami, avec frigo, micro-onde, TV , douche et toilettes privées. La salle commune comprend une cafetière à grain.

This place is such a hidden gem! The accommodation looks even more beautiful than depicted, has stunning views of Mt Fuji (weather permitting), and was exceptionally clean. The host was very friendly and helped us with a personal request which was extremely appreciated. We could walk to Oishi Park and were provided with bicycles to cycle around the lake one evening. In the evenings we were able to book a private onsen for 50 minutes, which was relaxing and a really special way to spend a night. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return someday!

We loved the location, the hot private bath, and the in-room and lounge amenities. Our host, Wade, made us feel right at home.
