Enjoy the peace and privacy of your own beautifully-appointed basement suite! The entrance is not regularly used by our family and you can come and go as you wish. The suite includes modern lighting, a bathroom with a jet tub, a kitchenette and breakfast bar, and covered parking. This guest house has been built and designed by my husband and I. It sits behind our house with private walking/biking trails right out your door. The design is modern with natural warm colors and tucked away in the trees. The loudest noise you will hear are the owls hooting and a faint distant train whistle two times a day. Our mission is to create an atmosphere of tranquility, calmness and peace. We offer mother nature outside your door with easy access to all the activities you desire.

Our property in Vermont is a slice of heaven: Set between Burlington & Stowe, 10 minutes off the main highway I-89, with quick access to the main spots in Vermont, but tucked down a dirt road with nothing but the sounds of the stream. On our property we built The Tuckaway Suite, an entirely private guest suite above our garage. This newly built modern rustic mother-in-law private cottage offers a convenient place to stay while exploring the Burlington/Winooski area. The cottage is nestled in my backyard on a quiet street in vibrant Winooski. The home is a 10 minute drive to downtown Burlington & the airport, and a short walk to the river, several cafes, restaurants, pubs, nature areas, and a brewery. Winooski is referred to as “the Brooklyn of Burlington” because of the foodie scene and rich cultural diversity.

Please note: We have a firm no kids policy due to the open loft and stairs.

Only a 3 min. drive to all of the activities at Smuggler's Notch Resort, restaurants, bars, and hiking, as well as the magical Golden Dog Farm "Golden Retriever Experience".
