Such a unique spot in a stunning location!! We had a great stay. Traveled with our young kids, so we had to be extra cautious with the wooden staircase but it’s not a deal breaker.

My family and I were absolutely thrilled to be staying at Matt's place for the last part of our NZ holiday. We had 9 of us travelling ranging from ages 4 - 83 everyone was comfortable and had something to entertain themselves. The house was close to town but in a very beautiful quiet place. If anyone is looking for a wonderful place to stay near Christchurch, this is the place to be! Highly recommend 👌 If I'm ever near the area again, I'll be booking Matt's place 100% Thanks Matt and Bev for a brilliant, 5 star stay!

Our family of 5, all adults, stayed at Steven & Amanda's place for 6 nights, and we loved it! Very comfortable and clean, lots of amenities, some super-clear instructions on how things work in the house, and easily contactable hosts. We will definitely re-book Steven & Amanda's home if we come back to Christchurch. Thank you both!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and will equipped. The location was great, quiet but just a few houses away from restaurants, shops and a transit stop. Kim provided information on things to do and places to see. She communicated quickly to any questions and requests. A 5 star accommodation, a 5 star host and a 5 star location. We could not have asked for more. Thank you, Kim.

This is a lovely and very functional place with a laundry and hot tub! Linda and Vicky both are great hosts. We'd go back in a flash.

What a magical place - wonderful host, peaceful location, surrounded by nature and birdlife, beautiful night sky, cosy and colourful accommodation. I would love to stay there again.

The location was ideal: quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently close to local attractions, restaurants, and shops. Communication with the host was seamless; they were incredibly responsive, helpful, and kind throughout our visit. We felt completely at home here and were genuinely sad to leave.
