LOVED our time at the Gecko Bungalow. Such a beautiful little space. The pool was great, the bungalow was so cute, but Michelle was the highlight! By far the best air bnb host I've ever had the chance to stay with. She's so friendly and knowledgeable and really went out of her way to give us exceptional hospitality and service. From picking us up, to giving us great recommendations, to whipping up a killer mango daiquiri, she really made us feel so welcome and I hope we get the chance to stay with her again. Really was a treat!

Ms. Patsy was a wonderful host, we even got a Belizean home cooked meal, Hudut delicacy made by Ms. Patsy along with a great history lesson. 🥰🥰☀️🇧🇿

I was initially hesitant to book at Rosie's place because it's in a Village, but it exceeded my expectations. It's not far from the capital city Belmopan. The drive to Xunantunich took us about 50 mins max, all other attractions were in a driving distance. The area is peaceful and quiet, with an electric gate and security cameras for peace of mind. The house is incredibly welcoming, and the kitchen is fully equipped for meal prep, plus a washer and dryer for added convenience. The host, Silvia, was warm and kind, greeting us with a fruit basket. Thank you, Silvia and Rosie, for a wonderful stay! I highly recommend Rosie's place—it's worth every penny, and I’ll definitely return.

Godfrey communicated with us in advance and arranged pick up from airport to a restaurant (he had a few recommendations) and then being brought from restaurant to the cabin He was very friendly and welcoming The cabin was clean , nice wooden floors, comfortable bed , quite, felt nice with A/C We were able to heat up our breakfast in Mwave and made black coffee

Sophia and Robin's place is beautiful. The directions were clear and concise, and we were given suggestions before arriving on where to stop for groceries, which we wouldn't have thought to do, so it was quite helpful. We were greeted immediately by the two farm dogs who escorted us to the main house where Sophia and Robin were waiting. After a quick rundown of the area, we were left to decompress and get comfortable. Any questions throughout the week were responded to immediately and we took them up on several suggestions for activities The kitchen was fully equipped and there is also options in nearby San Antonio and Christo Rey for meals. Early mornings and evenings were spent on the porch watching birds or stars. We even saw a few bats which are much bigger than the ones we have at home, so that was fun! We would recommend Sophia and Robin's place to anyone looking for a quiet, rural setting as a base to explore the western part of the country.

5 Stars – A Perfect Stay! I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Michelle’s place. From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described (if not better!). The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home—fresh towels, a small kitchen, and even a few local recommendations that turned out to be gems. The location was perfect—quiet and safe, yet close to everything I needed. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive; they truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. Terry and Daniel were amazing hosts. Terry always responded, mostly instantly. She was able to accommodate an early check-in, arranged transfer and made many recommendations. She even invited me to join her at a local concert in the park the night we arrived. We arrived as guests but left as friends. Thank you so much!
