The Rookery

This 400 year old coach house was built around the turn of the 1600's. It has quirky uneven walls, beams made from sailing ships that travelled the world, and a pretty courtyard garden. There's no kitchen, but is a dining room with mini fridge, microwave kettle, crockery, cutlery and tea making things and a large container for you to leave your dishes out for me. *DOGS* Please keep dogs off the bed and furniture because I find the dog hairs just spread over everything in the washing machine.

The Retreat @ Solway House is a cosy 1-bed annex tucked away in our garden in the peaceful hamlet of Rigg, just 1 mile from Gretna Green. Our semi rural location is only a 3 mile drive from the M6/and just off the A75, the perfect stop over to break up any car journey, we provide parking for one car on our driveway. The Annex is a self-contained tiny home with its own private entrance, featuring a double bed, log burner, cosy sofa area, shower room, and a fully equipped kitchen/dining area.

It has a private drive and garden with a terrace looking directly onto the lakeland fells. Plenty to do nearby: Takin Tarn, Hadrian's Wall, Lakes and Dales, Rhegged Centre.

Barco House apartment is a purpose built self contained apartment completed in 2022 and set in the grounds of Barco House a lovely Victorian family home. The property offers large open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. The perfect base for walking or biking the area or visiting the local towns and amazing sights or to just stop and relax and refresh. This is a dog friendly accommodation however any other pet ie cat/donkey/giant python I'm afraid has to be left at home and I ask you keep dog on the leash when around the car park and walkways.
