A self contained cottage with the use of a Tennis Court and a beautiful private walled garden which is accessed through patio doors from the living space. It’s set in unspoilt peaceful countryside yet only a 5 minute drive into Stock Village with its four outstanding pubs, cafe and Greenwood’s Hotel and Spa. There are two local pubs in West Hanningfield one of which is within walking distance. The vibrant Chelmsford City Centre is only a 10 minute drive. The cottage entry is via a lock box.

Shepard’s Hut in Small Orchard
This is a stand alone unit totally self contained with shower and toilet. Unlike garden rooms this unit has wheels and a tow bar. The (should I say) Shepherdess Hut as it was used by a small holder during lambing to be close to her flock. Not suitable for long stays. More details below in The Space. Our small orchard has 2 x cherry, plum, 3 x pear, 2 x apple, greengage, apricot, mulberry, medlar and olive. We also have two 2 x raspberry, loganberry, Japanese wine berry and our own hops

Located in the historic and picturesque Anchorage area of beautiful Mersea Island the house is in a quiet and tranquil lane, with the sea a moments distance away. 50 Yards at the end of the lane turn left for pubs and restaurants and turn right to find the sea wall, with opportunities for bird watching and scenic dog walks. The property sleeps 5/6 people and has an enclosed garden with seating and bbq, there is also a large lockable shed for any outdoor equipment.
