Perfect stay at Kate’s from start to finish. Kate was helpful, friendly and responsive and even ensured I had a DVD player to watch my training videos. Lovely private spot and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend!

Heather made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Helpful, friendly and spent time highlighting the 'must do' walks. The studio is in a wonderful location. Its on the very doorstep of all the scenic, exciting walks in this beautiful area. whilst being a lovely 15 minute river walk away from the town centre. There is an abundance of birdlife which is active all day long n the area. The studio itself is cosy has all the basics you need and the views are superb. The sound of bird song and a babbling river just create a relaxed vibe which we loved. Loved it we would love to comeback.

A lovely, well-maintained, spacious property with everything you could need when away from your own home. Thoughtful touches everywhere, from a basket of goodies, to a selection of DVDs and a cupboard full of board games. A perfectly cosy home away from home. Thank you!

Great place! We were in Wakefield for an event at the Hepworth and this was super convenient (within walking distance). Andrew was super responsive and met us when we arrived and when we were leaving.

We spent a few days at The Annex over the new year period. The weather was shocking but we got a lovely warm welcome from Greg and the place was cosy and inviting. The location is perfect; it's so peaceful yet you can pop along to the village shop in a couple of minutes and there are friendly pubs to walk to. Holmfirth is just a five minute drive away. The Annex is a great place to stay and Greg and Mandy are right there if you need anything whilst respecting your privacy and leaving you to it. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

Comfortable bed and really cosy despite us visiting during a v cold snap, they were thoughtful in putting the heating on in advance for us. The kitchen is well equipped with an airfryer, microwave and kettle. Location very quiet and handy for Tesco and buses into Leeds or walking to Roundhay Park.

This was the most fabulous stay in a beautifully perfect location. Carole was really friendly and helpful and kept the cottage really pristine. It was homely & comfortable and it’d be easy to say they’d thought of everything like people say a lot on here… but they hadn’t just thought of everything because theyd thought of more than that! It was the special little touches that made the difference but the cottage was perfect enough so everything else was just a bonus. As usual the only disappointment was that I was here on business and so only stayed one night. This experience really made me want to come back.

Beautiful house, just what we needed for a couple of days of relaxation. The hot tub is lovely with amazing views and all the amenities were perfect. We loved our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The only thing I would say is the owners house/spa is literally feet away from The hot tub so it isn’t very private(although as the house is so new we’re assuming some kind of fence will be built at some point), we didn’t see anyone so it was fine and it wouldn’t put us off booking again but definitely worth baring in mind if you want privacy. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great cheap & cheerful place to stay for access to Elland Road stadium which is why we were there. Plenty of room and nice & clean.

Ideal location for our needs due to house move, everything at hand. Room comfortable and clean. Shared living/cooking/dini g area was adequate for our stay, although a little difficult to access at times due to other guest using the kitchen, sound ate out the whole time, thats not a negative as othrt guest during my stay, where easy to get along with. Only down side was, on leaving had issues with Airbnb regarding pricing. That said, kieron was on hand to sort the issue out.

Mick is a great host and the house is lovely. And the garden on a sunny day was a real treat. Mick was very accommodating and have my kids a small trampoline to play on. Highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed it was ok for the price ! Easy to find with the keys in the box. We were surprised to see the window open in November . It was very very warm in the room and we slept with the window opened. Weird in November though . Worth the price!

If you are visiting Barnsley and want to stay in the town centre in a nice neighbourhood, very close to the train station, this is a great place to stay. It was perfect for our needs, close to shops but far enough away from shoppers. Close to bars and cafes, but away from the crowds. It is above a restaurant and next to a small bar, so there is some noise from the courtyard, so not suitable for those who love absolute quiet. It is also across from a school. Everything is in walking distance, from the football ground, Metrodome complex, shopping centre, markets, and Liddl (up the dodgy end of town) and slightly further for those like us who love walking is the Dearne Valley Park and Locke Park. Barnsley is known for it's pubs, with soooo many scattered around. Highly recommend staying here for Barnsley Live. Comfortable bed, access to a kitchen and shared bathroom plus extra toilet. I'd stay again for sure! Thanks for hosting us.

Great place in great location, our dogs had a lovely time time running around the paddock with the owners dogs and we really enjoyed the wood fired hot tub! Adrian is a top man, really great to chat to and have a bit of friendly Yorkshire banter. Will visit again for sure!

friendly hosts, really helpful. The pub is vibrant and friendly. It shuts at 10 so no noise after this. Rooms nicely decorated and really clean. The heating was oil heaters which worked well. I don't thing you could beat it for the price and that location. thank you

My stay was extremely pleasant, everything was in walking distance. While the room was a little smaller than I expected, it was still very comfy and catered to me quite well nonetheless. Kieron himself was always quick to respond and helped me out with any queries I had promptly. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone solo travelling to Barnsley
