This is not a typical airbnb. Stephanie goes above and beyond and in the end is more of a friend than a "host." For me, this is a home away from home. You must love dogs if you are to enjoy staying here.

Steve's was just like being at home. Steve himself was very responsive, friendly, proactive and even gave us hints on places to go to. I would definitely recommend such a host.

Stewart met us upon our arrival and went out of his way to make us feel right at home. We were left to enjoy the privacy and peacefulness of the beautiful quaint cottage and the animals that lived on the premises. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed for our 2 day stay in Johannesburg, with the location also perfect as everything we needed was within a 10 minute drive. We will definitely return!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Riaan and Malia were so hospitable and always responsive when we reached out to them. They even greeted us when we first arrived and gave us fresh baked bread. The outdoor area is very nice and fun for children to play. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of supplies to cook/bake. The house is very safe and secure and just as shown in the pictures. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I stayed at Stoney Brooke for 3 months, all my needs where met, they are very accomodating, I loved staying there, the peace and quiet is very good for the soul. I will stay there again next year.

Such a peaceful and pleasant stay. Check in was super smooth even though we asked to check in earlier than usual. The place was big enough to move around freely. Wifi connection was great and we loved the visits from the dogs. A lovely homey place with an amazing host.

What a wonderful opportunity to stay at Sally’s place. They are such a beautiful couple and absolutely helpful. The cottage is amazing, beautiful, peaceful and very quiet. If you need a quiet place for reflection and peaceful place to get your thoughts together or write a book, Sally’s place is the place. If you ever visit Joburg and would like to feel right at home, I'd highly recommend staying at Charl's place. His home is exactly as described in the photos listed and it is very safe, peaceful and comfortable. I felt right at home and cooked breakfast in his kitchen everyday during my stay before I started my day. He also has two adorable dogs who are so sweet and friendly are are happy to keep you company. All in all, a great place to stay on your visit to Joburg.

Had 2 nights at this little Oasis in Sundowner. Perfect little bolthole, and very comfortable for a family including a teen and a child. There was everything we needed and the little touches were so welcomed, bag of popcorn and some rusks! The garden is lovely to look out too, the area is very peaceful and felt secure. Thank you.

The house is specious in and out, has safe and secure environment. Great host whom i was able to communicate with at anytime.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Liezl's Gecko Cottage. It had everything we needed and more! The wifi was fast, we could easily access Netflix and Youtube. Liezl spoilt us with a bar of chocolate, fruit basket, sherry and bottled water! She is very friendly and welconing, we felt right at home. The garden with a large swimming pool is beautiful and the cottage has its own private outside area. We will definitely be staying with Liezl again the next time we're in Pretoria. The location is super close to shops and restaurants, and the Irene suburb itself is stunning with big established trees - lovely to go for a walk if you have the time. Highly recommended!

What a superhost ,Toy you are great .Will definitely come back .All expectations were met ,I asked for extra parking she made a plan and asked for a big favour in one of the rooms and she came through for us .The cleanliness of the house 10/10 .You are exceptional dear ,keep up the good work .
