SUGARBIRD HOUSE EDENVELDT FARM

I have decided to rent out my personal farm house\ guest house to happy road trippers seeking solitude and a peaceful surrounding. The house is within a valley surrounded by 48 hectares of open land,beautiful mountain (cederberg) backdrops and a river with three natural swimming areas within walking distance of the guest house and the place include a 25m lap pool right in front of the veranda! Oh and plenty of clean breathable air :). There is one full sized bed so its best suited for couples.

Hunter House - Self Catering in Cederberg

The Hunter House is a private holiday home in the Cederberg that is surrounded by blossoms, flowers and Namaqualand daisies in the spring. Summer brings the sound of the sun beetles and fresh peaches next to your holiday home. The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar. Winter brings the snow on the beautiful hiking mountains. Guest farm campsite at main river. No Wifi. No towels.

Secluded Off-Grid Mountain Cottage

Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a 'donkey' water heater and solar power.

Neels Cottage in Rocklands

Rustic, old-fashioned cottage - the home of Marijke and Lefras Olivier, a retired local farmer. Located in the heart of the Rocklands bouldering area. Perfect for boulderers, or anyone wishing to enjoy the beauty of the Cederberg or just to enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners live in a Studio apartment at the back part of the house. They have a separate entrance. While guests will almost be unaware of their presence they are always available to give advice or answer questions.

The Cabin, Enjo Nature Farm, Cederberg

Tucked in a fully fenced garden, our cosy Cabin is perfect for couples or a small family, offering peace of mind (and keeping curious horses at bay!). Near the campsite, it’s great for staying close to camping friends or simply enjoying a quiet escape. With an indoor fireplace, well-equipped kitchen, private bathroom, fire pit, and shaded outdoor seating, it's a charming spot to relax, stargaze, and reconnect. Bushmanspoort (Cederberg) Mountain Cabin

Rustic, comfortable & spacious cottage, at "Die Poort", 28km outside Clanwilliam, over Pakhuis Pass, Rocklands Area, RSA. ( Cottage is perfect for 4 adults and 2 minor children. But not for 5 or 6 adults.) This eco-friendly setting of simplicity set in style, is nestled against the Cederberg Mountains. It is a nature lovers dream, ideally situated for hiking/cycling, bouldering/climbing, spectacular views, photography, romance and peace.

Uitsig Stone Cottage is set within huge weathered grey rocks, facing easttowards the high peaks of the southern Cederberg. It has spectacular views in every direction - to the south is the monumental Middelberg Peak, and to the north in the distance is the pinnacle of Sneeuberg. The interior is clad in wood and furnished with beautiful rustic antiques, and has a rock-clad bathroom with breathtaking views.

The Solace Cabins offer luxury in a beautiful citrus and tea farm. These self-catering cabins feature an indoor fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, and a cozy outdoor deck with a gas BBQ. Enjoy a queen-size bed, automated blinds, and a private outdoor shower. For your comfort, the air conditioner is available daily from 10h00 to 18h00.
