Controlled Chaos Basecamp is a Northwoods Adventure Cabin located in the middle of Wisconsin's best ATV/UTV and Snowmobile trails, on the border of Jackson and Clark Counties, just 10 miles north of Black River Falls. We are close to 10 different river landings on the Black River and multiple creeks with Class I to Class III rapids plus lake access at Lake Arbutus and Wazee Lake County Park a short drive away. It is the perfect location for all outdoor enthusiasts. It has direct access to Clark County ATV/UTV trails and is just minutes from Clark County Public Forest, with plenty of room to park trucks and trailers. We are 15 miles from Rock Damn County Park, 14 miles from Mead Lake and 20 miles from Lake Arbutus in Hatfield.

The Lumberjack Shack

Step back in time and experience the rustic charm of this 100-year-old popple log cabin near Rock Dam Lake, & campground! Once the sleep shack for the WPA workers, this cabin was drug to it's resting spot on Windy Creek where it still sits today. Nestled in the heart of Wisconsin's lush forest, this location offers endless miles of ATV, & snowmobile trails with access just up the road. Private location w/beach, two bars, waterfall, small store & campground just a couple minutes walk!

The Loon Cabin

Fully Furnished with utensils, towels, pots, pans, and a washer & dryer. You can either cook in your cabin or enjoy some good eats at the Riviera Pub and Grill. Towels and linens included. Volleyball court and horse shoes are right outside your door! Boat launch is available right across the street from Lake Arbutus and provides great fishing for all types of fish year round. ATV trails are right next to the resort and well groomed. Blacktops roads make for great bicycling!
