Beautiful home with excellent views of the lake and valley--it was especially lovely as the leaves were turning. Also, the place has dark skies for star-gazing on a clear night. All rooms were clean and as-presented in the photos and description. Jeff sent some very helpful info and photos to help us drive in to the house--especially helpful since the last ~1 mile is on a private, relatively narrow road. Also, my Android Maps app on my phone was clearly sending me to the wrong location (i.e., not to the lake), so we relied on my spouse's I-Phone--which brought us right in. (Interestingly, Google Maps on my laptop had showed the correct location, but Google navigation on my phone was pointing elsewhere.) Recommend you pre-check your nav feature in advance of your arrival. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a serene location with great views and lake access.

Beautiful and peaceful place to rest for a weekend getaway. Very responsive and attentive host. The place and amenities were exactly as described. It was everything my husband and I needed for a night away after a game at Virginia Tech.

This was a perfect getaway home for two Hokie families to spend a long weekend! The use of the kayaks was great as we got to really enjoy the lake. We loved making s'mores by the bonfire on the lake, too. It is very peaceful and serene. Blue Ridge was very responsive with the majority of our questions although they weren't able to resolve the temperature issue with the hot tub that we reported on the first day. Also, don't forget anything from the food store on your way to the Lodge as it quite a haul to get to the nearest supermarket or restaurant! Overall, this was a great place and plenty of space for all to unwind.

Gina’s place was incredible! It was plenty of space for 3 couples and both the home and property were beautiful. We really enjoyed the access to the pond right out the kitchen and spent much of our time on the dock. The stars were beautiful and we were able to see meteors from the Perseid Meteor shower. We were in town for the Galax Fiddlers Convention and it was a convenient location about 25 minutes from Galax. I highly recommend this stay and hope to return soon.

Talk about an airbnb that delivers! We stay at many airbnbs throughout the country and found Lazy Daze to be perfect on every level. The attention to detail -- in the choices of furnishings, kitchen appliances, linens, lighting, furniture, grill, accessories, decor, speaker systems, etc. -- was so notable. Nothing was overlooked. The kitchen was perfectly stocked for all the best appliances, cookware, utensils, gadgets, knives, etc. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens super soft. The house was pristine in terms of cleanliness. The spaces for hanging out were well furnished and thoughtful - especially the porch. Well done, Tim and Melissa! And, thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful scenery and great little getaway spot for a weekend! Joseph was very hospitable and helpful in making sure we had everything we need. We look forward to hopefully visiting again another time!

It was a wonderful place to stay and we had a blast while we were there. Wish it could've lasted longer.

Luna's Trail is simply a magnificent location for peace and tranquility. We had attended a wedding there a few years ago and stayed in the main event hall. We returned this time with our family to join our extended family for Thanksgiving dinner at a relative's house about a 15 minute drive away. Now, it is definitely in the country so if you're expecting a hustle and bustle or a lot of choice in restaurants and entertainment near by this is not your venue. But if you're looking for a really nice cabin, quiet surroundings with lots of nature, spotlessly clean and well appointed, this is a wonderful location. Well we did not have the occasion on this trip to enjoy the restaurant, we know from our last visit that it is outstanding. We do highly commend the Luna's Mexican Kitchen restaurant a short drive away from the event center and cabin- Simply incredible and authentic cuisine! We felt that we got good value for money!

Good location away from the town and great hospitality

This place is very high vibe and peaceful. And the bed is really comfy. The views are awesome and the pond nearby really takes it up a notch. We loved it!!

This place was a real gem! Even better than the pictures. It was perfect for our ladies weekend. We loved all the outdoor space and spent a lot of time out on the rocking chairs. We walked down to the New River and it was so beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen was amazing and the house was very clean and perfect for our group.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in and around the pond. The home was spotlessly clean. We always cook when we are traveling and the kitchen was so well equipped for that. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life - this is the perfect spot! Alex was so helpful - communicated everything so clearly - and even allowed us to extend our stay when we hit a snag during our trip. I highly recommend Alex’s home - you will not be disappointed!

This is a beautiful, peaceful unique property. The view is stunning! Loved the fireplace. Clara was easy to work with and responsive. Kitchen could use a few more wineglasses and a bit of decluttering but would not hesitate to stay here again. Loved the area!

It was a beautiful location! The lake with the private dock was amazing we loved fishing and relaxing down there. The location is a bit windy and up and down but everything else is absolutely perfect! Barbara checked in with us to make sure we were all set and had great communication and very friendly! Thank you for the great experience! Fu Lin and highlands pizza are a definite recommend on restaurants!

Beautiful lake views. The owner stopped by to drop off salt since we were expecting snow and ice which was very thoughtful. He also let us know we could park at the top of the driveway if needed. Will definitely look to stay here again.

We have stayed in this home for 3 years and absolutely love it. Its the perfect size for my small family. The home is always clean and we always try to leave it close to the way we got there. We enjoyed hiking, scootering, swimming, throwing footballs and frisbees, fishing, kayaking, and so much more. We caught 3 big catfish also! I can sit on the backporch and see the dock from there and thats great for this momma with young kids! Always a pleasure staying in this home. Thanks for another wonderful vacation. We will be back soon!

We stay for a short period as we worked near by and wish it was longer. This home had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended. Thank you Daniel and Ann!

Nice little 'Get-away' place! The initial drive there is a bit intimidating but, as Madison explains, GPS takes you right there and finding it was pretty straightforward. You're going to want to stock up prior to arriving as it is a journey to get anywhere but the kitchen is well stocked with utensils so planning for the week is easy =]

Great value for a two bedroom, fully equipped space with lake access. The furniture could be more comfortable, but overall we were pleased with the space. The kitchen was quite well-stocked; we appreciated having a slow cooker to make our dinners while we enjoyed the lake. Being able to do laundry was also a wonderful plus. We also enjoyed using the kayak and air pump provided so we didn’t have to pack ours.

Beautiful view of the New River from the front porch. We ended staying an additional 4 days and it was accepted within minutes.
