Rustic cabin originally built in 1951, less than a mile from Elk Rapids and 12 miles from downtown Traverse City! Boat launches and beaches in every direction. I want to reiterate the rustic aspect. The cabin is old. The tile is marked in places, the carpet weathered. The places has..character. Unit #121 at the base of Schuss Mountain

Unit 121 is located at the top of Schuss Mountain Lodge. It is within walking distance from some of Northern Michigan's best skiing and golfing. Not to mention, it's only 15 minutes away from Short's Brewery in Bellaire. Unit 121 is located on the second floor and there is not an elevator. This is a one room hotel-like unit. You can sleep four — two on a foldout and two on a queen bed — in the same room. Private bathroom. Very close to the ski hills.

We love this place, and everyone we bring here does too. Newly renovated it has just the right amount of rustic and new. This log cabin is a great place to unwind with a game of disc golf, corn hole or just relax by the campfire. Perch Lake is a half mile up the road if you like to fish, swim, or kayak. only 30 min. from Traverse City the possibilities are endless. Casinos, wineries, and fine dining and tons of outdoor activities.

Comfortable, spacious chalet in the trees, short walk (across E. Torch Lake Dr.) to public access on beautiful Torch Lake. Close to downtown Bellaire, Short's Brewing, Shanty Creek, Schuss Mountain and Dockside and a short drive to Glacial Hills Nature Conservancy for Biking and Hiking. Great for family summer vacation or cozy ski weekends. Very strong Wifi for folks that want to school and work from "vacation"!
