Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. Five minutes walk to the harbour and local swimming cove and even closer to Cockenzie House - a thriving community hub with beautiful gardens, a cafe, vintage fairs, live music and much more. The coastal walkway John Muir Way runs through Cockenzie.

Similar to other small fishing villages on the east coast of Scotland, fishing boats still work out of the harbour and can often been seen bringing back the catch from the windows of the flat.
