There is no grid-supplied electricity on the farm but gas stove, gas geyser, gas fridge and oil lamps are available to help you reconnect to the peace and quiet.

The Stone Cottage Guest House, built in 1896 and recently restored is an ideal farm stay offering luxurious yet rustic self-catering accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Charming Country Cottage at Bird's Haven Guesthouse is ideal for a family of up to 6 guests. WiFi avalable in room. Farmers Cottage Bethulie

The beautiful decorated luxury farm style cottage is an open plan self catering unit complete with fire place, a fully equipped kitchen, queen size bed, bathroom with shower. A large stoep with breathtaking views, private garden and access to the pool at the main guesthouse, Karoo Pandok. It is also pet friendly, fully fenced but we do charge a fee of R75.00 extra per pet which is payable on arrival. Please discuss with your host.

The Aloes guest house

The Aloes Guest House offers spacious comfortable accommodation in a fully furnished self-catering unit. The unit comprises of 1 bedroom and can accommodate 4 guests at a time. The Aloes is set on a koppie, overlooking the historical town of Bethulie offering a beautiful view of the Hennie Steyn bridge and the Lake Gariep .
