Listed as one of Michigan's Dream Homes 2023. Located on the beautiful all-sports Swains Lake. Includes 2 kayaks, paddle boat (April-Oct), your own dock and beach area. Public boat launch a mile down the road. Inside you will find a clean, spacious, cabin with all the amenities needed for a romantic get away or a family fun trip! Only an hour away from Ann Arbor/ Kalamazoo or 30 minutes from Marshall. Falling Waters Trail, a 10 mile paved trail connecting Concord to Jackson, is 5 miles away.

Benham Schoolhouse

Take a quiet vacation at this fully renovated historical schoolhouse built in the 1800's. It offers an open floorplan with a loft area where the four twin beds are located *can be made more private by closing the barn doors. There is two full bathrooms, a large kitchen area, living space, dining space, and an open area we can set up to be used for craft activities or other activities upon request. It also has a Halo air purification system, stopping virus particles to travel through the HVAC.

Secluded Lakehouse w/ Hot Tub, Sauna & game room

Get away to the quiet of a lake in a secluded paradise! Enjoy an amazing panoramic view of Little Pleasant Lake while soaking in a hot tub and chilling out in a steaming barrel sauna in the woods. Kayak and fish for hours. Hike the area trails in fall leaves or quiet snow. Light a bonfire after games of corn-hole and table tennis. Unwind on the upstairs balcony with a glass of wine and lake sounds. This is the escape you’ve been needing. Perfect for romantic couples and family vacations.

Comfy 1-BR, Hosta Haven

If you are looking to take a break and spend some time in the country, this rental is for you. This unit is the fully furnished, walkout lower level of our home. It features a private entrance, a king size bed, full bathroom with bathtub, kitchen, dining area and spacious entertainment area. There is plenty of room for an air mattress in the living area (air mattress not supplied). Since we live above this property, absolutely no pets, no smoking of any kind and no unregistered guests.

The Barn Quilt Bungalow- Views of horses right out your window! Includes 1 bedroom (queen), 1 pull out mattress (queen), 1 bathroom (shower only), living room, kitchen, heat & A/C. Walk the trails or walk to the winery. MAX OCCUPANCY is TWO guests. You can add a third for $30/night. Guests may not bring additional people, no matter how long. Airbnb will be contacted immediately if you exceed the max occupancy. No children, animals, or service animals (allergy/ health hazard).

Jake's Lake Place w/pontoon rental

Jake's Place is on a private beautiful all sports lake (all DNR regulations apply) This is the perfect spot for your next family getaway. Spring feed lake, very clean and sandy bottom. This property has access to a second empty lot for additional yard. Multiple indoor and outdoor games, paddle boat, 4 kayaks and bond fire pit for relaxing after a great day on/in the lake. Jake's place faces the west for Gorgeous sunset viewing to end your day.

Water’s Edge-Lakefront-Hot Tub-Kayaks-Pet Friendly

Tranquil lake living! The Water’s Edge is a great way to enjoy the lake. It is right on the water with kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and a canoe to venture out with. The hot tub accommodates 6 people. The sunroom has beautiful views as well as a couple of beds that can be used if the weather is nice. There is nothing better than falling asleep to lake sounds and a pleasant breeze! Please no college partyers.

Outpost Treehouse

The lookout inspired Outpost Treehouse (not actually attached to a tree) sits in a white pine forest in the middle of a 50 acre active farm. The 15 hand crafted windows allow for great views watching out for Michigan wildlife--White tail deer, turkeys, owls, coyote have all been spotted from the elevated wrap around deck. The biggest regret that guests have noted is “we wish we would have stayed longer”!

The Garden House

Relax with the whole family in this charming old home, with swings on the front porch and an overgrown English cottage garden in back. Less than ten minutes from Hillsdale College with a fully equipped kitchen, this makes a great home base for college families. When we travel, we enjoy places with character, and we have maintained the character of this old fashioned family home.

Be adventurous and stay in rustic old Gidley Station. It was moved to "Trail Acres" in the 1920's and was converted to a house. It has a unique but spacious floor plan, and is on a property that we have been working hard to restore for the last few years. PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING!
