Thank you Anna! The place was cozy and comfortable. The place had everything that we needed. BBQ, hot tub, camp fire, Netflix and everything else you would need when visiting a place like this. Walmart and grocery stores close by if you need to buy something as well. Overall a great place that I would recommend and even stay again! Summer or winter it’s a great spot. Thank you to the hosts for sharing their place!

Awesome place! Super spacious and the Sauna was wonderful. Definitely would recommend as a cozy cabin stay in the winter and I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer. Thanks again for the lovely stay!

Myself and 3 ladies so enjoyed this peaceful fun weekend Their Air B&B was the perfect place to unwind, take walks, very clean, beautiful lakefront and sunsets were stunning Close to Carleton Place and Almonte for shopping and terrific restaurants Would certainly recommend.. Enjoy if you do book in the future!

My second time staying at this Airbnb! Sandy and her husband are very friendly and the communication was always great! Sandy’s place is very spacious and we absolutely loved being right on the Ottawa River, the suite is very close to a few restaurants (we had dinner at THE POINT was very yummy) nearby although Kanata is only 30 minutes away will definitely come again. Thanks, Sandy.☺️

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was even nicer in person compared to the photos. Great attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable with softer & firmer pillows. The wood stove by the big TV and cushy couch was great. The hot tub was amazing. Lake side view off the deck was very nice. Strongly recommend. We’d love to come back.

We fell in love with this beach house over the course of a month, and we are so grateful for Trevor's patience and attention to detail. The house has everything, clean kitchen and bathroom, up to date appliances, and most importantly, a view so beautiful that watching the clouds roll in every day cured all worries. Loved Trevor's house and will be back for my next vacation!

We really enjoyed our extended stay here this winter. The cottage is much larger than we expected with two full bathrooms and two large bedrooms that are nicely separated, with a large kitchen space. The pool table provided extra fun for family and friends on cold snowy days. The views out to the river are lovely (even in the winter). The property was very quiet and private making for a relaxing and peaceful escape. The hosts were great to deal with, responded quickly and resolved any issues we had. Merrickville is a short drive away and a great spot to run for lunch or a few groceries. Highly recommend this property!

A Perfect Getaway – Even Better Than Expected! Our stay at this cottage was absolutely incredible—truly a paradise for both adults and kids alike! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the description and photos didn’t do it justice. The space was even more beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed than we imagined. Every detail was carefully considered, from the stunning surroundings to the little touches that made all the difference—like the wireless chargers conveniently placed throughout. The cottage was immaculate, cozy, and filled with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time away. Communication with the hosts was exceptional. It felt less like dealing with a rental and more like chatting with a friend or neighbor who genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a getaway that exceeds expectations in every way, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Laura’s cottage. It had everything we needed for our relaxing weekend getaway. We sat on the dock and enjoyed the quiet lake even if it was during the winter. Our stay at the Birch cabin was super relaxing & comfortable. Jolene & Chuck are amazing hosts who ensured we had everything for our stay. They were kind & responsive. The cabin is spacious & well stocked with pots & pans and other essentials. We loved exploring the property, had a lovely time in the hot tub & star gazed on tge deck at night. Our 2 dogs had an amazing time as well. This beautiful property is truly a hidden gem & I would highly recommend it!

Hands down one of the best cottages we’ve stayed at. Beautiful lakefront location with everything you need and more included with your stay. The sauna was a lovely added touch. Communication was great and the cottage was very clean and finished to a high standard. We’ll be sure to come back one day!

We had such a wonderful stay at Leeann’s. Even though it was a rainy weekend, the tent was so cozy that it didn’t dampen our experience at all. One night the temperature dropped down into the very low single-digits, and the thick down duvet kept us amazingly warm and cozy! We did not need to use any of the extra bedding that was available. We adored the peace and tranquility of our stay. Leeann and Rey were such wonderful hosts - so quick to respond to messages, kind and accommodating. Really the only thing that we felt could be improved is the mattress on the bed. We found it to be a little uncomfortable. The coziness of the bedding and pillows did help though. And the tent set up as a whole is just lovely! Overall, we would absolutely recommend staying for a “glamping” experience here. We look forward to returning!!!

This property was a perfect for a weekend getaway with family. It was conveniently located near the local ski hill with a small grocery store, gas station and LCBO just steps away. The local snow removal service kept our driveway clear during this very snowy weekend. The property was immaculate, with plenty of space for our group of nine, with five kids.

The pictures don’t do justice to this cottage, One of the best waterfront views I’ve ever seen so far, The bank that it sits on and overlooking the water with the private beach, is a jaw dropping experience, The place was very clean and well maintained, What an awesome weekend to get away from the city noise, Thanks for having us!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It was clean, it had a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms to sleep. The check-in process was easy and everything was easy to find in the home. Our kids loved the ping pong table. The hot tub was especially lovely as the weather was a bit cooler than we had hoped for! Again, a lovely visit and we would highly recommend. This is an excellently kept AirBnB and a really kind and thoughtful host. We had forgotten some belongings behind and were quickly notified and he offered to ship them back to us, making our life so much easier and solving a problem that could have been a headache! We will be back in the future!

This home was beautiful with a view to die for. Looking out on the frozen bay, playing pond hockey out there and coming back in to get warm by the fireplace and place some games with the family. It was a peaceful space for our family to spend some much needed time together. It’s so close to the Sens rink and avoids the commute out of the city. Absolutely beautiful area and a truly unique house with a master sanctuary and space for the kids upstairs! Can’t wait visit in warmer weather and make use of that incredible terrace patio with pool and beach!

The Air Bnb was fantastic. The setting was stunning, and even tho the beach wasn’t really swimmable the view was gorgeous from the deck and the kids enjoyed walking down to the beach and checking out the frogs along the way. (We drove a short distance away to swim). The house was clean and incredibly spacious. The kitchen was huge and well stocked. It was perfect for our two families!
