Highly Recommended! We had an great stay at this beautiful home nestled along the scenic coastline of St. James. The views of the ocean were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and being just a short walk from some tidal pools and Muizenberg Beach was a huge bonus. The host was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, offering great recommendations for restaurants, things to do, and hidden gems in the area. We would love to go back!

Great place! Loved the pedal boat option. Perhaps not so ideal if you have toddlers because the staircase does not have rails. Minor issue really and other than that we had a good stay.

What a wonderful time we had in Alex’s beautiful Higgovale House with its special atmosphere. A home from home we felt immediately at ease. The tropical gardens give the feeling of being in the midst of the jungle - despite being only minutes from the lively Kloof Street with its many restaurants and coffee shops (wine bar/coffee shop/deli Tamboerswinkel deserves a special mention). We felt very safe at night and enjoyed being able to access Cape Town‘s sights quickly. A highlight was our hike to Lions Head - again only a stone throw away from the house. Alex’s great communication throughout our stay was not surprising, given his friendly welcome and advice and whilst we didn’t stay long enough to get to know her, housekeeper Barbara also seemed very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

This is our second stay at Thilo & Cheryl's house in De Waterkant. We love this house! The location is amazing. It is within walking distance of everything in the ever evolving Waterkant area. We also enjoy walking to the waterfront from here which is about 15-20 minutes walk. The house is beautiful. Everything has a premium feel and it is super cosy. Lots of cushions on the sofa, comfy beds and bedding. The kitchen has everything if you enjoy cooking. Smart TV for nights in. There is an amazing view from the living area topped only by the view from the rooftop! The roof is incredible. Great loungers for sunbathing and an outdoor sofa for drinks and relaxing. The hot tub is great and it all looks out over the waterfront and the bay beyond. The location is great for driving in and out of cape town on the highway and also easy for central cape town with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Thilo and Cheryl are very responsive and friendly making this a truly special place to stay

Spacious apartment with everything we needed. Waking up, opening the curtains and watching the sun rise over the sea, whilst sipping a morning coffee was truly special. He best start to the day. A fantastic base to explore from and it was lovely to come back to and relax at the end of the day, felt very homely.

Our stay at Mary-Louise’s villa was incredible! The location on Glen Beach is unbeatable, with breathtaking ocean views and the soothing sound of waves. The villa was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Mary-Louise was a fantastic host—helpful and welcoming. Can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Carin's beautiful mountain house. It was perfect for exploring the local area. Carin was very helpful. It was the perfect place to spend the last few days of our holiday and watching a beautiful sunset from the hot tub was the perfect end to our holidays.

Nathan’s place was the perfect location for our family of four to explore Capetown. The cottage is cosy with all the necessary amenities m, and we felt right at home. Nathan is a friendly and approachable host that made us feel very welcome, and he had a ton of local suggestions and tips on where to visit. The neighbourhood felt very safe and family friendly, there is a lovely playground across the street, and a shopping village/ mall 5 minutes drive- it truly is the perfect location for a short or longer term stay in Capetown and we will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Eileen’s place is spacious, well equipped and in a great location for going in any direction from Cape Town. A great find from our point of view.

Amazing wooden cottage, I could see only this one in the area as most other houses around were in modern styles. Makes you feel that you are living in a cabin by the sea away from the world, though you have other houses around, the view of the bay and sea is immense. You can watch the sunrise from there and one morning we saw dolphins! The place is spacious and well equipped, the terrace is amazing to spend hours on watching the ocean. We were there between seasons so it wasn’t cold nor hot, it was perfect!

Our stay at Stuart’s place was wonderful – a lovely and cozy place with a stunning view. Stuart was an amazing host, very friendly and helpful. We had a really pleasant three days here! Thank you, Stuart!

I rented the house for my wife, two kids and some friends. We had a very great stay and a good time at the house. Everything was as expected and described by the owners. We had a very good communication with them before and during our stay. They are so lovely and helpful. Restaurants are close, also grocery store and a mall. The beach is just 7 minutes away by car and around 20-35min to downtown depending on traffic. Also once a week the house is cleaned with no extra charge. All together 5 Stars from us! Thank you very much.

Wir waren 13 Nächte zu Gast im wunderschönen Haus von Andrea und Ian und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt! Die beiden Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich, immer gut erreichbar und standen uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Toll war, dass sogar Pooltücher zur Verfügung gestellt wurden. Die Lage hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Ein kurzer Spaziergang führt zum schönen, langen Sandstrand, zum Ortskern mit netten Cafés, Restaurants und kleinen Shops geht man etwa 30 Minuten. Kommetjie ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Kap-Provinz. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen. Danke für eure Gastfreundschaft, liebe Andrea und lieber Ian.

We had a wonderful stay at Philip's place. The house is very spacious and the location is great. It was easy to communicate with Philip and he was very flexible. We stayed for a bit over a week at the beginning of our South Africa trip, and booked again for our last night as we liked the place so much.

Tanya was thee absolute best ,a perfect host ,very helpful aswell as her helper ,the place was easy to find and I must say the pictures don’t do it any justice it’s a beautiful place clean and the kitchen has everything we needed for our stay ,the pool kept the kids busy as it was so hot ,she even gave us an extra day 🌸I must say she was one of the kindest individuals that have ever hosted me ,I appreciate all she did for myself and my family ..

We had an awesome time at Daniel’s place. The house is spacious and well apportioned and the location is ideal with a short walk to the beach and all the shops / restaurants in Sea Point. House is very well kitted out especially for kids with loads of toys and books to keep the little ones entertained. Ireen was also a god send - she kept the house spotless and also looked after our little one! We’ll definitely be back!

Superb place with a genuine ‘home’ feel to it. Lots of communal space inside and out and a gorgeous garden to enjoy. Tracy is a super host - responsive and shared loads of advice what to do locally. Hout Bay is a 10 min drive.

A terrific place to stay in Camps Bay and all exactly as descibed. Easy walk to the beach and local restaurants/bars as well as bus pick-ups for tours etc. Uphill walking back but no problem if moderately able. Ubers easily available and not expensive for exploring near or far. No problems as a base if driving yourself. We were an adult party of 5 and really enjoyed our visit to Cape Town. Ingrid was easily reachable and responsive. Would highly recommend and thanks for a great stay!

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at Maureen's villa in Camps Bay. What a wonderful villa with stunning garden areas and covered patio. The pool was larger than expected and kept clean and well maintained by the pool cleaners. The villa itself is set in a lovely, quiet and wonderful part of Camps Bay, within walking distance (downhill) to all the fabulous restaurants and bars, serving delicious and inexpensive food. The villa was immaculately clean and well furnished, with super comfy beds. A lovely, very friendly cleaning lady attended once a week, who always ensured everything was okay. Maureen was easy to contact and very responsive to any questions we had. The property had all the amenities needed and even provided washing powder! I have no hesitation in stating that I could not fault anything either inside or outside this lovely villa! We all had such an amazing stay at Maureen's villa, and Camps Bay/Cape Town, and didn't want our holiday to end.
