Traditional Log Cabin in the Lakes

Traditionally built Log Cabin in a woodland setting, with exceptional views of the Western Fells. Relaxing and Cosy Atmosphere with a wood burning stove. The Cabin comprises of a Kitchen, mezzanine Bedroom, living area and adjoining bathroom. ( I list this cabin for 2 people but would consider allowing up to 4 guests if you contact me especially if you wanted to bring children for instance) Please note this property may not be suitable for guests with specific disabilities if a fire occurred.

One of two shepherd's huts located on our traditional working hill farm in the stunning Wasdale valley. The huts have everything you need to enjoy your stay in this beautiful part of the world. Wastwater shepherd's hut comes complete with a double bed, kitchen area with induction hob and a bathroom with shower. Perfect place to start numerous walks from the doorstep including many of the popular Wainwright hills such as Scafell Pike and Illgill Head. Easy access to the lake for kayaking etc.

Secluded rear garden filled with flowers and wildlife with breathtaking views to the Wasdale fells. Country charm mixed with modern decor creates a cosy home to enjoy. WiFi a fully equipped kitchen, clean modern bathroom with power shower and a comfy living room with open fire - all to enjoy after a day exploring Gaze at the fells from the snug window over a book, candle and unwind.

Camping pod in western lakes

Our cosy pod sleeps 2 adults comfortably but could sleep 3 adults or 2 plus 1 young child. Pet friendly. Inside the pod is a double bed, a single futon mattress, kettle, toaster and oil filled radiator, carpeted floor, black out curtains. no bedding is supplied. The pod is small but cosy. The onsite games room provides extra space. Based on our working farm with panoramic views of local fells and Skiddaw. We have 3 camping pods all sited for guest privacy but could all be hired by friends.

West View Beach House - Cumbrian Coast

West view is a luxury property located directly on Nethertown beach. It is in a tranquil area with amazing sea views. It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.

Situated directly on the banks of the picturesque River Duddon, surrounded by the National Park Southern Fells. The cottage has been renovated with views in mind, the lounge being on the first floor with vaulted ceiling, picture windows and cosy log burner. Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

We are a stones throw from the stunning Wasdale Valley with Wastwater being named Britains best view and also home to Englands highest mountain- Scafell Pike. Perfect for couples or a family with 2 children under 13. Maximum 2 adults. As we are a working farm there will be animals and working machinery around the farm.
