This place is a jewel on the Airbnb site and perfect in every way. It has everything done to the highest speck you could ask for. The host could do no more for you. The bed was so comfortable that we slept for hours and hours. It had everything we needed and a bonus of being offered warm scones too❤️

Cannot wait to come back!

had a lovely chilled weekend with my partner, the cabin was beautiful, cosy and clean, it was lovely to see the deer from our cabin. The bathroom just a very short walk away from the cabin was very clean, shower was hot and powerful 👌 we took advantage of the boat ride on their lake, that was fun. Ruth was very helpful, lovely host, lovely place ... will return 🥰

We had the most wonderful anniversary weekend at the ‘Old Dairy’! David was extremely friendly and helpful from the moment of booking, to the time we departed. The accommodation was perfect and even better than the pictures 😊 - it was exactly what we needed for our for get away with our 4 month old twins (and with our 5yr old Dachshund, Ron in tow!). Lots of beautiful scenery, some great walks on the doorstep and a stones throw from a lovely pub and Coniston amenities. We had such a great time and look forward to coming back soon! Thanks David for a fab stay 😃😊!

Natalie was a very friendly and helpful host. The accommodation was as described and extremely clean and ideal for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable. It was lovely to watch the birds coming to the bird feeder which was thoughtfully hung in front of the window. The highland cows in the adjoining field were an added pleasure to see. We hope to be able to return in the future.

Had a lovely Easter break, the accommodation was amazing and spotless. The effort that has gone into these pods are second to none, spotless and clean. Everything you would ever need was provided. The bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch. Such beautiful surroundings and the hot tub is perfect for 2 people to unwind and spend quality time together. I can’t wait to come back. Just 20 minutes from Windermere so perfect for a lovely day out.

Staying at The Hobbit Hub was an absolutely amazing and dreamy experience! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a fairytale. Every little detail was so thoughtfully designed — cozy, magical, and full of character. It truly felt like a hidden escape from the world. The atmosphere was peaceful, the surroundings were beautiful, and the space itself was spotless and comfortable. We loved every second of our stay and didn’t want to leave! Thank you for creating such a unique and memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back!

We want to say a huge thank you to Kevin, the property is beautiful, it’s immaculate, spacious, well laid out and the views from the property are incredible, what a great outdoor space to wake up to and sit outside with a filtered coffee and then to sit out at night with glass of fizz and girly chats … we had the best weekend for my friends 50th in a brilliant property, location and host ☺️ thank you very very much

Perfect place if you want some peace and quiet while being surrounded by nature. The hut is very cosy and the surroundings just breath taking. I only saw Nicola for brief moment, but she was very welcoming and kind.

Absolutely lovely place. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night. It was very comfortable and cozy, beautifully decorated, and had spectacular views. The gardens around are relaxing, and the area is quiet. Would be a great home base for visiting the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Liverpool/Manchester. Would love to come back again!

We stayed for 2 nights, and our only regret was that we didn’t book for longer! It is such a beautiful area and we found the surroundings so relaxing. There is so much to explore and do within short driving distance, and the recommendations from the hosts were very appreciated-I would say a car is a must though as it is very rural. The property was stunning, so clean and beautifully designed and all the finishing touches really made it special. It had everything we needed and more. The hosts are fantastic, leaving fresh eggs, milk and butter on arrival alongside flowers and chocolates etc. They are very responsive and friendly, and told us everything we needed to know. Thank you so much, we look forward to staying again one day!

Realmente maravilloso todo, tanto la localización, con un prado verde inmenso delante, como la cabaña que era monísima, con una decoración muy cálida y agradable, tenía todo lo necesario y Jade nos propuso planes fabulosos. Realmente la recomendaríamos seguro!

Absolutely amazing! Me and my partner had the most perfect, peaceful time! From start to finish we couldn’t fault Annabel if we tried. The bbq and fire pit by the stream is heaven followed by stargazing in the hot tub then snuggling in a cozy bed was just unbelievable. We will definitely be booking again! Annabel you are a gift from god.

A lovely quick night away, it is in a very relaxing setting close by to town. We walked down the canal (which is beautiful!) and had a couple of drinks and headed back for a relaxing evening. A lovely touch having some games to play - we played cards! Victoria is extremely proactive in her responses and welcomed us to the property! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend getaway for her birthday and she loved it! Linden from the get go was a lovely host. She welcomed us to the property and talked us through the place and how to light the hot tub, she was extremely welcoming and very kind. She was also very responsive and assured us to message if we needed anything. The place itself had everything you’d need and we felt right at home. Tesco is a 2 minute drive away and theres some lovely pubs, beaches and towns nearby. The welcome pack also gives some routes and places to go nearby! The hot tub does take a while to heat up and it took us a minute to get the hang of but once you do its lovely. The horses in the field next to us were very friendly and it was just a very peaceful and relaxing getaway. Thank you!

Very nice place Great pod Would stop again

Stayed two nights at Laura's with my son for my birthday. Beautiful location, fantastic cabin, well equipped, clean and cosy. Great location for things to see and do. Spent the day at Leighton Moss, a few miles away, which is great. Highly recommend this beautiful place. Particularly enjoyed the bench by the lake watching the birds and the baby Coots. Thanks Laura x

After a long drive up the M5/M6 I arrived at the Bothy's dreamy location and immediately forgot all my frustrations / tiredness. Inside it has everything you need – all the necessary cooking/eating bits and bobs, super comfy beds and a great bathroom including a bath with a view! Surrounded by a lovely private garden, which in itself is surrounded by fields and moors and pure tranquility meaning you can switch off entirely. Walkers are spoilt for choice with so many options on their doorstep (thanks to Jonathan's handy tips) and even more a short drive away. Kirkby Lonsdale is about a 10-minute drive and has all you need – plus a station so you can travel further into the Dales on the Carlisle-Settle railway line (which has just the best views). Can you tell that we loved it?!
