Also Fota Wildlife Park and Fota Golf Resort,( which hosted the Irish Open in 2014) a mere 5 minutes outside the town.. I am also less then 5 minutes to Jameson Distillery, Midleton.

A generous self-service breakfast in the large Dining Room is included. An extra bed can be added to the room for a third guest if needed. The house is child friendly and with a crib/cot if needed for an infant. There are private parking spaces (with an EV charger) and bus stops are within a short walking distance.

We are situated in a quiet and secluded private compound minutes from Killarney National Park, Conference and Concert Centre, which also offers family-friendly activities. Pubs and Restaurants are also within easy reach. Our rooms are large and ensuite, we offer unlimited free wifi and free secure car parking. Bus and train stations are also only 10-12 minute walk. Bike rentals, which is the easiest way of exploring the lakes and parks, are situated 5 minutes walk from house.

The Shed

A 15 / 20 minute drive from Killarney on route to the famous Ring of Kerry in the middle of the Reeks District voted in the top 5 destinations to visit in the Rough Guide. 7 minutes to Killorglin the home of Puck Fair the oldest festival in Ireland. This cottage is set at the foot of the McGillycuddy Reeks with a view of Carrantuohill. Perfect for hiking, walking and cycling... The space sleeps 2 people. The heating is electric. The stove in not in use for burning fuel ....

Chez Shea Gypsy Wagon-

The wagon is a good place to escape to. Lie in bed in the morning, read your book, hear the birds sing, see the sun peeking over the mountain. On a fine evening, you can light a fire. You might see a fox, you might see a deer or a hare. One time I saw a red squirrel playing in the Oak tree. Bring your sketch pad, your journal, your knitting. This is a place to rest and recuperate. It’s also a good stop off for people walking the Beara Way.
