Panoramic is situated on the side of the 200 year old copper mine known as Tywarnhayle. It is south facing with views across the valley with the benefit of the shelter from prevailing winds. It has its own private sheltered decking area and garden with table and chairs. Calm and tranquil yet in close walking distance from the amazing Porthtowan beach one of Cornwall’s finest surf beaches. Our Lodge is very private and peaceful, nestled next to woods and orchard with wonderful views over Mounts Bay but only 5 minutes from Penzance by car with its many restaurants and night life and is perfectly placed to explore the spectacular beaches and coastal paths of Lands End and St Ives. With private parking for 3 cars, it is perfect for families, couples and groups of friends. We are always on hand to give you any help or information you may need. Your own transport is recommended.

3 bedroom lodge at Whitsand Bay Fort

The Lodge itself is large and extremely well equipped. It caters for 6 plus a well behaved dog. There are three bedrooms comprising one main double room and two twins and one en-suite shower room to the double and one family bathroom with bath and shower. The Lodge is extremely light and has some wood ceilings throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, slow cooker, and microwave. Two ovens and a gas hob are also there for the chefs.

The beach stretches from Hayle to Godrevy and is very popular to surfers, especially windsurfers. You can watch from the chalet whilst sipping away on your morning coffee. All amenities are at your fingertips; Hayle is just a short walk away, where you will find a supermarket, restaurants, cafes, pubs, and public transport.
