The village shop & post office are at Veryan for your added convenience.

It has a private electric hot tub for romantic times under the stars (an optional extra which is booked for the duration of the stay: 2nights=£70, 3=£100. 4=£125, 5=£145, 6=£160, 7=£160) and a charcoal BBQ for alfresco dining watching the sun set. Inside is a double bed, with storage cupboard, a compost toilet, sink and gas shower in the bathroom, a gas hob, microwave, toaster and fridge in the kitchen area and a cosy wood burning stove.

The Rook's Nest Shepherd's Hut in West Cornwall

The Rook's Nest shepherd's hut offers up a unique holiday experience. In a beautiful setting it is a delightful cosy but bright small space. An ideal base for exploring the west of Cornwall. Named after the Buzzards that soar above, the Buzzards hut is a peaceful retreat with views over the open countryside. Both coasts are a short drive away, the parish of Wendron where Porkellis is situated is steeped in a rich mining heritage and there is a 7 mile circular walk on our doorstep. Dogs allowed, fully fenced.
