We loved staying in this place! It was perfect for the whole family. We spent our days between the beach and the pool and it was perfect. Nothing better than having the beach right in front of the house. Also they had cleaning services every day included in the price which was amazing, we didn’t have to be cleaning the sand of the floors and we had new towels every day. We completely loved our stay totally recommend!

Beautiful off the beaten path home next to the beach. House was beautiful with air conditioning that helped on the hot and humid days. Beach was just across the street which was nice though rip tides were possible so had to swim during certain times of the day to avoid them. Jefferson was always responsive with anything we needed and even offered to do laundry for a small fee which was nice and convenient.

Due to an unfortunate issue with our original place to stay, we had to make a last minute pivot. We were so grateful to have found Richard’s place and his incredible hospitality. This place is toward the north part of the town, so it felt much less crowded and it was particularly quiet at night. All we heard were the waves and an occasional lizard on the roof! 😂 We cooked most of our meals at the property, and the kitchen setup worked great. The instant beach access was amazing, and the ability to come back and relax in the hammocks and at the table/couch area in the shade was also a giant perk. Maria cleaned the place each day, which was also a bonus and an example of their wonderful care. It’s located beside a cafe, which does mean more people nearby at times, but it also means quick access to food/drink. Aside from the first evening when a DJ was playing at the cafe (Sunday funday!), it was a quiet and peaceful place to relax and enjoy a beautiful location. Many thanks!

As others have stated, the pictures really don't do this place justice! You have both a private pool and relaxing balcony, along with a beautiful beach beckoning through the trees. It was the perfect place for our family of five to unwind. Each kid got their own bed upstairs while mom and dad had some privacy downstairs. Gregory was extremely helpful with friendly advice, local recommendations and was even willing to lend us a machete to open up coconuts. Our daughter enjoyed walking down the beach to the surf camps where she took a lesson, although I would recommend some good sandals or water shoes for the pebbled areas that are unavoidable at high tide. I would caution swimmers to be very careful at low tide -- we got caught in a strong current pulling us towards some scary rocks. I'd recommend swimming at high tide or further down the beach. Overall a spectacular stay at a rare find right on the beach. And Gregory was great host.

Our family of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) really enjoyed our stay! The house itself was very nice (white noise might be needed because of the roosters). The easy accessibility to the beach when we wanted to go there while also having an amazing pool and covered patio to relax throughout the day was perfect for what we were looking for. We enjoyed the quiet and local feel of Brasilito Beach. The campground is right there, like others have mentioned, but it was never an issue at all. We walked to Playa Conchal (liked our beach better) and checked out Playa Flamingo for a sunset one night. Vidal lives on property and was always a friendly face. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!

Beautiful home right on the beach with amazing host who was always right there to assist when needed. The home was immaculate and beds very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. The living room was a great relaxing spot and my favourite was the patio table overlooking the pool. We loved this home and you can tell the owner takes pride in hosting. We will be back at the first opportunity . Highly recommended. Thank you for an amazing few days!

We had a wonderful stay in Punta Uva. The grounds around the home are lovely with jungle plants and little creatures. We loved mornings on the beach and coffee from the local coffee shop around the corner. So good! Unfortunately the waves were rough the whole time we were there so we didn't get to try any snorkeling. The road can also get busy with people but there was always enough beach space to play in the waves. The open air part of the home (kitchen etc) is very rustic but charming. We enjoyed the outdoor shower. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nicely done and the ac was appreciated. We had a little trouble communicating with the caretakers on site though they were responsive once we got ahold of them. I recommend that you get a what's app conversation going when you check in so that the communication is easier. There are many restaurants in Cocles just up the road that are delicious and Puerto Viejo is a cute town to shop in and check out the black sand beach.

My family enjoyed 11 nights at John’s place. The house was more spacious than expected. All amenities needed were available. We felt safe at the house and surrounding area. The pool was wonderful and we enjoyed it daily. There is a grocery store and 5 restaurants very close by. Tamarindo is about a 15 min walk. We did not have a car. You can rent golf carts if needed. Beaches - Playa Langosta is a very short walk 5 min and you can walk to Tamarindo beach in about 15 min. Tamarindo is busier, it was nice to stay in a quieter area. Howler monkeys were seen morning and night right on the roof of the house and trees in the yard. We also saw iguanas and variegated squirrels in the yards along with a number of birds. Cleaning service was included in the stay the lovely lady came a number of times while we were there. John was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to my many questions prior and during our stay. We would stay again at John’s villa.

Alex and Leonie were great hosts. Very responsive; answered all our questions and were very helpful. The house was great- plenty of space, very comfortable, very close to beach, shops, and restaurants. Super convenient that there is a washing machine and line to dry clothes. Pool was a highlight for us- great to relax in the evenings after activities during the day.

Fue realmente excelente. La atención al detalle, los espacios, la comodidades hacen de este lugar el sitio perfecto para vacacionar en familia. La casa es verdaderamente hermosa.

El lugar fue fácil de encontrar gracias a las instrucciones claras de Yali. Tuve buen internet en todo momento, lo que me permitió a mis adolescentes estar tranquilos. La cocina es excelente y pude preparar mis alimentos a gusto. Mi familia disfrutó de un ambiente sano y seguro. Yali fue una anfitriona excepcional, siempre atenta y dispuesta a ayudar. Recomendamos este lugar a todos los que buscan un refugio tranquilo y acogedor.

Our stay at Villa la Pacifica was amazing! Andrew and Brenda are great hosts. They were helpful, courteous, and prompt in all of their communications from beginning to the end. The home is perfect. We were a group of three couples, and it couldn't have been a better setup for us. The home is very clean inside and out. It is stocked with anything you'd need to prepare meals (which we did numerous times). The location of the home was just right. The walk down to the beach was short (as in other reviews). Although we drove down most days. Then the short drive to town was the perfect as well. Everything you need is within minutes. We're already talking about taking our families to CR and Andrew and Brenda will be my first contact. Thanks for the great memories!

Si vous cherchez un logement dans un endroit calme et isolé c’est l’endroit parfait au son des vagues et vue sur la mer sur une petite route de terre avec une magnifique piscine et une cours arrière vraiment chouette. Les chambres étaient très confortables et Jenny la manager de la maison est vraiment très gentille. Susan est très réactive au messages et flexible, nous avons vraiment eu une belle fin de séjour au CR :) Le resto Mar y sol recommandé par Susan était succulent. Attention les vagues 🌊 sont très fortes, donc plus difficile à se baigner avec les enfants. Mais Plage exceptionnelle pour prendre de longues marches, comme si on était seul au monde ! Le BBQ est très vieux et usé et donc nous ne l’avons pas utilisé. L’appartement était très confortable nous étions 4 adultes et 2 enfants. Des heures de plaisir dans la piscine :) Épicerie à environ 20 minutes de l’appartement. Situé à 1h de Manuel Antonio :) donc se fait très bien pour la visite d’une journée !

Pros: - Having direct access to the beach was very nice - Being within walking distance of the whole town, with lots of restaurants and a store - The grounds keeper is there everyday, so he can provide you with anything that you need -Best AC we experienced in Costa Rica - Easy drive to Diamante Adventure Park, and well worth the money to do the full day pass Cons: - The days we shared the beach with the front property, felt like we were stepping on each others' toes using the chairs and hammocks - Between the bedroom & kitchen is an open air dining area, which means in order to get a late night snack/drink you have to get fully dressed and be prepared for the bugs - There is a motion sense alarm in the yard that auto sets, so remembering to turn it off before setting the alarm off was tricky sometimes.

Great place to spend a relaxing vacation. Douglas was very responsive and the property was in a beautiful location. If you arent familiar with Costa Rica, be prepared the roads and long travel times. The location is in a beautiful location, but doesnt have alot of locations near the property. We were looking for that so it was perfect. Douglas' instructions and recommendations were very helpful and we really enjoyed the pool on property. We also had private chefs and massages on site which were great.

Casa Move was everything we hoped for. Our family arrived and had an easy check in with a quick home tour provided by Wil. The home is less than a 3 minute walk to the beach and to a little corner bodega/cafe. The home was well appointed with all we needed for a comfortable stay. The fellas made friends with the owner of Carton Surf Shop next door and spent their days surfing. We walked the trail nearby and saw monkeys, an anteater and tons of birds. We ended our hike with a stop at the Puddlefish Brewery across the street. It is about a 5-8 minute drive to town and we visited a few times. All in all a wonderful , safe location and a lovely home. Highly recommend!!

Excellent experience!!!! Great for people who don’t want/need A/C, like to hear the ocean and spend time on the beach. Amazing experience!!!!!

This house is situated on a fantastic, uncrowded beach. It stretches on for long beach walks, the sand is soft, the waves are perfect for boogie boarding, and the water temperature is warm. Each day of our stay we boogied boarded for hours with maybe 15 other people in sight. In the evening there are beautiful sunsets. The outdoor space of the house is great for cooling off in the small pool or relaxing in the hammock. The house is located in a gated community inhabited by tourists, so in order to experience authentic Costa Rican restaurants or culture one must drive to a neighboring town about 15 minutes away. The house itself is as described but be aware no amenities (shampoo) are provided with the exception of small soap discs. The beach itself made our stay wonderful.

Our group of 8 had an absolutely wonderful experience at Lara's home in Costa Rica. The house was exactly as described - immaculately clean and extremely comfortable for our entire party. Every amenity promised in the listing was available and in perfect working order. Lara was an exceptional host from start to finish. Her communication was prompt, friendly, and thorough - she patiently answered all of our questions and made us feel completely at ease. The true highlight was the beautiful backyard where we spent countless hours relaxing and enjoying nature. The sight of colorful macaws flying freely among the trees created a magical atmosphere that none of us will soon forget. These stunning birds would visit throughout the day, adding an authentic Costa Rican wildlife experience right on the property. The entire stay was deeply relaxing and rejuvenating - exactly what we were hoping for. Without question, we plan to return next year.

We had the best time staying in the house! It was perfect for our group, and love that everyone had their own separate spaces. Highly recommend!
