Ballycastle itself is a great centre for seeing the Antrim coast and Louise’s accommodation was excellent for a family group. The house was well equipped, spotless and well located for local shops and restaurants. Would definitely go back. Alison

We had an amazing stay at The Yellow Door Cottage. The place was spotless, well-stocked with extra bedding and towels, and had a lovely, cosy feel. The outdoor spaces were thoughtfully designed, and we especially loved the charming wood-fired hot tub—such a unique and relaxing experience. The location was great, close to Derry, Letterkenny, and perfect for exploring Inishowen. The host was fantastic—prompt, professional, and genuinely helpful, making everything so easy. The creativity in the outdoor area and home furnishings really stood out, adding to the charm. The privacy and peaceful setting made it a perfect escape, and we’d absolutely rebook if back in the area. Highly recommend!

A really nice home with fantastic facilities, the outdoor area really adds to the experience, we were able to make great use of the hot tub, sauna, plunge pool, BBQ and pizza oven. The photos don't really do justice to how nice the house is. The town on Buncrana is a short drive away and has everything you want or need, restaurants, take aways, coffee shops, bars, supermarkets, parks, walks and beaches, a great location overall.

We stayed here with our two sons and our dog. The house was so comfortable and cosy. The space was perfect and so well designed and maintained. The gardens were fab and very secure so the dog could potter around and we could leave the door open. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was easy to use. I’d highly recommend this house to anyone travelling this direction. As an aside, the local area is stunning. We completed many walks and many cafes etc were dog friendly so we could bring her inside which was so easy when the weather was bad. This is my new favourite location in Ireland as it was just so easy and every single person we met was so nice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house to friends and family!

We had a fantastic stay in the lodge. It was so cosy and beautifully done up. Gorgeous peaceful surroundings in the forest - a real switch off. Our kids loved the treehouses, padel court and trampoline. Jayne was a great host! We would love to come back again some time.

We had a great few days at Dorothy’s place. The house itself was immaculate, cosy and warm with beautiful surroundings. The pictures really don’t do this place justice! Dorothy is a very kind and attentive host who responds promptly. I felt she genuinely cared about our experience, we would definitely return to MillLodge!

The perfect house for a stunning family escape. The house was great for our family of 6 adults and 1 toddler, plenty of room for everyone with ample bathrooms. The house had stunning views and the added treat of a path to a private beach. Another added bonus was the selection of baby equipment available, it really made everything so easy. Alistair was a very helpful, friendly and responsive host, nothing was too much trouble. It really felt like a home away from home!

Only stayed one night unfortunately but the place was spacious and comfortable and was in a great location on the boardwalk so restaurants and old town etc all within easy walking distance. Anna was really helpful and responded instantly to any communication and was able to provide recommendations for this to do even for such a whirlwind visit. Would highly recommend.

My friends and I had a lovely stay in Claires apartment. We had all we needed and was home from home like. Very relaxing stay and really enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and great tv for watching the football and youtube etc. Claire was very quick to answer any questions we had about the apartment and was very friendly. Would highly recommend

We had a wonderful time!! Graham was amazing so friendly and gave us a great tour of the place. We felt right at home. The hot tub was amazing so relaxing and peaceful. We loved meeting lulu she is the most gorgeous, friendliest dog and so playful. Overall we had an amazing time we will definitely be staying again!! Thanks again Graham it’s a lovely place will definitely be recommending it to people.

The apartment was fantastic. It was immaculate & had everything you need for a family getaway. The view is stunning & we enjoyed sitting in front of the fire watching the ever changing view of the sea. Joanne was extremely helpful with the booking & checkin. The area is beautiful with lots to see and do including beach, hiking & eating out in Dunfanaghy village. Thank you to Joanne & Alan. I’d have no hesitation in recommending or staying again!

We had a great stay in Justin’s place, Fabulous bright space which was very well equipped, comfortable beds , great shower. Fantastic views too Great to have Netflix , Disney channel etc on TV

Iris and Roy’s place was lovely. Beautiful scenery and garden. Peaceful and quiet. The place itself was immaculate and comfortable. We loved the little details such as the lights on the stairs which came on when you walked up them. Iris and Roy were very accommodating and friendly and would love to re visit in the future. Margaret and Trevor's place is spotless. Very clean, smells lovely and you'll have everything that you need in place. My family and I had a wonderful time. Place is quiet and very relaxing. Perfect for a small family who wants quality bonding time. The back garden is spacious enough for kids to play. They also have lots of puzzles, games and other stuffs for kids to play. Will definately recommend!

We had a fantastic two days. Michael is a great host. Beautiful surroundings and stunning views. Apartment is the best we have stayed in. We will be back.

This place is just one hidden gem, second visit and brought my boys and niece this time, everything is just amazing, the kids didnt wanna leave .. neither did I... the host is super kind as well ... stunning place with lots of lake activity , bbq n firepit, just beautiful !!

A wonderful weekend spent in the beautiful and relaxing cabin.

Absolutely beautiful spot! All the check in instructions were provided before, made it very easy to get into our unit. Host was so friendly and came down to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. Hot tub was ready to go and made for such a special night! Could not recommend this place enough!

Absolute bliss! My new favourite place 💕 Hosting only 2 pods it was very quiet and peaceful overlooking the beautiful Northern Ireland countryside. Kirker met us promptly upon check in and was very friendly and welcoming. The pods were absolutely sparkling clean, beautiful new state of the art hot tubs, lots of little activities like corn hole, darts, swing ball etc. There is a shared space between the two pods which has a movie room with projector, a covered bbq area, a fire pit and a large picnic bench. It was very easy to find with google maps. We relaxed around the fire pit listening to the birds singing then met the other lovely family staying in the 2nd pod and got chatting away while our children played. Overall we are blown away with this little find. It is so so peaceful and in the middle of the countryside but yet very close by car to major towns/city. The perfect base for whatever the trip like walking, shopping etc. We will definitely return here at a later date.

Overall the stay was amazing although we couldnt order the weather for it, the cozyness inside was perfect for a special stay. Probably the best equiped rental we used through the years. Very well though out and everything there. Plenty recomendations and literatture for touristy and sight seeing spots nearby (Inch island, Buncrana and its beach, few forts and view points along the wild atlantic way - Greenan fort is a must for views) and all within 10/15min drive from the cabin. Dont say it easily but we would definitely be back here again.

Our stay at the Lakeview Cabin was pure bliss. Welcomed with a thoughtful basket of snacks, we instantly felt at home. The view of nature was like something from a postcard — peaceful, calming, and made even more magical by the playful ducks drifting by. Soaking in the hot tub, surrounded by that serene landscape, was the perfect escape. We left completely relaxed and already dreaming of coming back.

Spent two nights here at Davey Johns and we were not disappointed. The cabin was secluded and extremely private. Shane was a great host, giving us useful links before and during the trip to make sure we had all the information we needed to plan and make the most of it, including about the cabin and grounds to what was interesting nearby to do and see. The hot tub was our favourite part, with most of our evenings spent relaxing. Just what we were looking for, we had a great time

Have to say, this stay was so much fun. The decor is modern with a woodland twist, the hot tub is fabulous. The property’s that Paul have built are incredible. Nothing was an issue. I will definitely be back again in the summer, so handy if you want to tour the north coast & just as fabulous for a cosy stay with family or friends. Can’t recommend this place enough!
