Relax at our quaint and tranquil getaway. The Barefoot Bungalow allows you to enjoy the outdoors regardless of the season. Whether it’s coffee or cocktails, you will be sure to enjoy the newly built decks. Cuddle up by the fire, roast some marshmallows, star gaze and take in the serenity this escape from the rat race offers. Covered BBQ area with seating for six. The large property allows children to play and explore and there are also local playgrounds a short walk down the road with the beach.

With space for up to four guests, it features a double bed, futon, two loft beds, kitchenette (mini fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, hot plate), potable water jug &amp; dispenser, TV with DVDs &amp; games, a private compost-toilet outhouse, and a private outdoor fire pit &amp; picnic area. Located steps from the playground and main lodge, it gives both family-friendly access and privacy.</p>

Each room has been uniquely curated to enhance the one of a kind character of the home. This property features a wood burning stove, vintage claw foot bath tub, all brand new "Ghost Bed" mattresses (3 king and 1 queen), gorgeous fire pit area and all the modern amenities you would expect from a premium vacation property.

Two walk in closet rooms, with a double and single bed. Perfect for the kids. Upstairs there is also a family room with all the DVDs and games you could imagine. On the main floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and the coziest living room you could imagine. With a wood burning fire place.

The big kitchen and dining areas make it easy to cook and eat together. There’s also a pool table, satellite TV, and some board games and puzzles to enjoy. Outside, you’ll find a large deck with seating, a large natural gas BBQ, a seasonal hot tub, and a fire pit with firewood provided. Laundry facilities are also available for your convenience."

Sorsele Hus is a bright, cozy two-bedroom cottage fronting directly onto Pigeon Lake. Built over 80 years ago, it has been lovingly restored to honour its original Swedish owners. The large wrap-around deck with a gas firepit opens onto a lawn next to the beach. There is public green space right next door for tossing a frisbee or kicking a ball around. The cottage is just an hour's drive from Edmonton or within cycling distance for those looking for a bicycle vacation.
