This is a suite on the top floor of our home. There is a living room with adjacent deck, a bedroom with queen size bed and a well equipped kitchenette with micro, toaster oven, electric frying pan, crock pot, blender, electric kettle and Keurig coffee maker, coffee, tea, cereals. You have a full private bathroom off the hallway right next to the suite. We have a separate entrance. Close by: Kingfisher Resort and Spa is a 5 minute drive away for pampering yourself with a good meal or spa treatments. Mt Washington Alpine Resort is 45 minutes away for skiing cross country or downhill in the winter, and hiking in the summer. Seaside swimming, reading and relaxing!

Heather Cottage - Beautiful Wetland Views

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

We host a cozy, clean, disinfected, and modern 950 square foot completely self-contained, street-level suite in our family home in Courtenay's heritage Old Orchard area. The suite has In-floor heating and on-demand hot water and a fully-equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms each, with queen beds and custom floor mattresses are available upon request. Restaurants, stores, groceries, and a Saturday farmer's market in the winter are steps away.

You will be close to everything in our centrally located character suite. We are within walking distance to downtown Comox and the Comox Marina, where you will find many cafes, pubs, restaurants, and shops. Several beaches, parks, and forests are very near, and Mount Washington is just a 30 minute drive away. The local hospital, pool, and arena are all within a 10-15 minute drive.
