We absolutely love this place! It’s even more beautiful than the photos and we felt right at home. It’s a perfect little gem, close to downtown but still quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

Felt like visiting family; familiar and cozy. Great location for parks, trails, and breweries. They had a great selection of VHS which made for fantastically nostalgic evenings (they also have streaming services for more recent movies). Kitchen was fully equipped and made meals extremely easy. Would 100% stay again.

Wyatt’s place was very comfy and peaceful! The beds were super comfortable and felt like sleeping on a cloud. He had great recommendations and was very quick to respond to any questions I had.

Fellow Air B &Bers. The knives are all sharp! A dream come true. I never ran into anything I didn’t need. If you cook…..it’s mostly there. My doggy felt comfy there too. Beyond clean!

We came for a family reunion and it was wonderful that we were able to all stay in one place. It was roomy and we all had our own space but yet we’re together in one location. In previous family reunions we had stayed in hotels and never quite felt like we were all together at one time. The location was great. It was close to everything we wanted to go to, but yet a little bit out that we didn’t have to deal with the traffic. There were lots of wildlife, and the amenities on the house were as advertised. The fire pit was outstanding. We are already trying to nail down the date for our next family reunion so that we can reserve the house again.

Not only was this peaceful gem just like the listing. BUT the record collection and books are AWESOME!!!! The pet friendly fenced in back yard was spacious and well lit for our Great Dane puppy to run a frolic to her little hearts content. Cant build build a fire?(even though there was ample wood supplied)?? There’s a gas table top fire.. don’t feel like going out??? I made a homemade breakfast pizza and had all the cooking utensils I needed… I felt soo at home and at peace. And enjoyed a trip to Petosky and POND HILL FARM and the tunnel of trees. I JUST need to know one thing??? How much is rent, and when can I move in??

We loved our stay at "the cabin!" Lots of room and personalized space for those who wanted it. Good bathroom space and really appreciated the laundry and kitchen areas.

Walk out basement to the few steps to get to the beach area. Well stocked kitchen. Recommend bringing your own water if desired ( well water I believe) . Beautiful sunsets. Game room was fun .. bring quarters to play though . Highly recommend

Debs place was wonderful. Everything was as pictured/described. She was flexible and very responsive. Access to the club house and its amenities was definitely an added plus! We took full advantage! Plus she provides a ton of information and things to do in the local area if you’re visiting from out of town. Would love to return and explore more in a different season.

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you The Ramsey family

We loved staying here for a little weekend getaway! Dorene and John were so helpful and kind. The place was awesome so close to everything! Everything was so cozy and well put together, the hot tub with view is awesome!! We for sure will be back

let me just start by saying. Linda was amazing. Made us feel right at home. very understanding, and makes you feel like you aren't just someone staying at her property. She makes you feel like your family coming to her home. I will be staying again when we come up it might be a regular thing for me and my family.

This was a fantastic stay. Everything was clean, well equipped, and so comfortable. The scenery was absolutely beautiful as well! Danielle was an amazing host, extremely friendly and very accommodating. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and will definitely be back!

We loved our winter stay in the cabin. It was warm, cozy and had what we needed after xc skiing all day.

Great place for the weekend to get away and relax. Also got to understand the history here when it was built in 1899. Pretty cool location!

My family and I had a really great experience staying at Uncle Tom's Cabin in Grayling, Michigan. It was a good balance between privacy, waterfront access, and having fun in the game room. We would all like to return sometime in the near future. A couple of recommendations to management: the well water stains in the bathroom sink and toilets needs to be addressed, the water pressure was also very low in the bathrooms, including the shower. Adding a third bathroom would be great especially with larger group of 10 people. Also, the communication with True North needs to improve, it feels impersonal when we aren't getting responses to specific questions, but only receive auto generated ones. Overall, looking forward to returning to Uncle Tom's :)

Beautiful secluded property. Clean comfortable house. Was fantastic that they allowed pets but you could not tell that there were any pets ever in the home!
