Beautiful area to spend time with family.

This was our second time staying at Ralph's place and it was great, as it was previously! The views of the river are breath-taking! Ralph added a larger dining room table since our last visit, so that will be nice for people with larger groups. The place is very private yet has a great pizza place about five minutes away and lots of great restaurants about 30 minutes away in Prairie du Chien. If you see a tugboat coming down the river with a tow, head down to US Lock & Dam No 9 to watch the tug go through the lock (about 10 minutes away). Very interesting if you've never witnessed it before. We love staying at Ralph's place and will definitely be back!

Excellent place that is quiet and has great views of wildlife and the river. So much room for everyone to have their own space and come together for a meal or board game. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, playing darts, sitting by the fire and making smores. Simon was quick to respond to any questions I had, thanks for sharing your home!

This house exceeded our expectations in every way. This was a beautiful property. They thought of everything a person could forget. We arrived sooner than expected and we were willing to wait outside but Kathy was more than happy let us in early. The space was so relaxing and so much fun.

Brandi's place is exceptional. Her home has been well-loved and is very well maintained. Everything is clean. The couch, the bed, the sheets, the bathroom, the kitchen. One of the drawbacks to airbnb's is the lack of cleanliness that is becoming the norm. Sheets, chairs, couches retain body odors. Not so with Brandi's place. It smells clean and fresh. I came to hike, and there is great hiking close by. Pike's Peak is walking distance, a bit more than a mile, but the exceptional experience is Effigy Mounds National Monument. It's a quick 10 minute drive. It is an incredibly beautiful park with wonderful vistas of the great Mississippi. A genuinely sacred place.

This was the last perfect place for our stay. Lots of trails and outside activities. Well stocked home- plenty of kitchen items for us to use. Somewhat dirty…dusty corners, air vents etc. but would keep us from going back. Loved our stay.

Cute cabin and beautiful view, close to hiking! Extra bonus of doggy treats in the freezer. Super quiet and secluded. Wonderful firepit outside with computable chairs. Beds cozy. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed to cook. Bathroom very clean! We shared the kitchen with a lot of lady bugs but it’s that time of year so we understood. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Stephanie’s cabin was just as described, it was quaint and quiet and simple. The gas fireplace is very nice. You’ll have to bring your own bedding and towels but for just the three of us that wasnt a big deal. The porch was lovely for coffee in the morning!

The Railway Lodge is such a cute and cozy cabin—perfect for a peaceful weekend in nature! The place had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially loved spending time outside and doing some grilling—it was the perfect way to unwind. The quiet surroundings and scenic setting made it feel like a true escape. The hosts were super responsive and thoughtful. Highly recommend if you're looking for a charming, nature-filled retreat!

Booked this cozy and peaceful cabin as a solo getaway/retreat to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city. This place delivered and then some! Very clean and already had pretty much everything you can think of. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at. You can tell the hosts take care of their cabin and want everyone to have a great experience there. Literally no complaints; highly recommend!

Truly a jem of an Airbnb. From the moment we got there it felt like home. The house was beautifully maintained and had everything you could possibly need. A great place to get away with the family and have the kids get to relax and enjoy nature. The house was loaded with comfortable furniture and blankets. The blanket on the couch in particular was the most comfortable blanket I’ve felt in my life. The house was decorated with art that makes you feel as though the forest outside blends seamlessly with the cozy space inside. The restaurants and recommendations from the guidebook were all fantastic too. Loved the restaurants in town and exploring the area. The host was also super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed and the whole process was smooth. We can’t wait to come back. Couldn’t possibly recommend a place more highly. The cabin was just what we needed. Such a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The cabin was super cozy. It was quiet and secluded.

We had a wonderful stay at Eagle View Lodge! Stepping into the cabin felt like being transported back in time. Complementing the old-world style and architecture, it was decorated with antiques and beautiful artwork. However, the modern furniture and amenities gave it a spa-like feel. We were very comfortable throughout our stay. The view from the cabin was stunning! We enjoyed coffee on the deck, cards around the fire, and the hot tub under the stars. Sunsets over the river were beautiful. We explored a couple of nearby towns: Viroqua, Prairie Du Chien, and Lansing. During our drives we saw tons of wildlife: so many deer, turkeys, eagles, and hawks. We recommend Eagle View Lodge and hope to return. Thank you, David!

Alex was great and very responsive! The cabin was awesome and super cozy! Extremely clean and very easy to stay in! We would highly recommend and would love to stay again!
