Explore old growth redwood stumps, watch birds and pollinators work in the sun, and close your eyes to absorb the sound of the waterfall at the pond. Pick fresh berries or fruit when it is in season, and enjoy soaking up the peace.

Redwood Bungalow – built in 1923, Newly Renovated

Redwood Bungalow is a completely renovated 1920’s home with lots of natural light and period architectural and woodwork detail, located 15 minutes drive from Redwood National and State Parks, and walking distance to the ocean and downtown Crescent City. The house has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, that sleeps up to 6 people. The upstairs master bedroom and bath have distant views of the ocean, Battery Point Lighthouse, and the mountains behind Redwood National Park.

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Located 3 miles from the pristine Smith River, Redwood National Park and the beach. Everything is there you might need during your stay. The barn is tastefully fully furnished with a well equipped kitchen in a country setting with outdoor seating, fire pit, hammocks and a gas grill for a relaxing getaway enjoying the outdoors. Beach chairs and beach towels are provided for your enjoyment.

Gayle's Garden Cottage

A tiny house cottage set in a garden amongst the redwoods, surrounded by rhodies, maples, birch and apple trees. Beautiful in all seasons. The cottage is foam insulated and thus very quiet for a good night's sleep. I use fragrance free detergent on linens. The queen bed (3 layers of high density memory foam mattresses) is in a loft, accessible by an angled loft ladder with handhold cutouts (not suitable for infants or children). Nema 14-50 plug available.

Cottage built in 1929! Less than 1 mile to beach. 10 minutes to the Redwoods. 858 square feet with 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom. Nice size yard with privacy. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed. Bedroom 2 has two twin beds. Pack N Play available. Walk-in shower, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes, basic spices, k-cup coffee maker, electric hot water kettle, microwave. Driveway camera.
