(2 Beds: 1 Queen, 1 Single). A 2 min walk to a sandy beach; 5 min drive to town along the picturesque shoreline of Kootenay Lake; 25-30 min to the ski resort; or 30 min to Ainsworth Hotsprings. Set on seven peaceful acres, the property is shared with elk, deer, rabbits, two resident ravens, and the occasional wild turkey—offering a truly immersive mountain experience.

The Hidden Moose Lodge

The Hidden Moose Lodge is the ideal destination for any guests looking for a place to stay in Northern Pend Oreille County. Located down a private access road, this charming cabin nestled in the woods (NOT on the River) is the perfect retreat for all seasons! Beautiful view of the Kootenay Lake and the Purcell Mountain Range. We are located 5 minutes north of Kaslo on highway 31, in Shutty Bench on a 4 acre parcel. This newly renovated cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed, plus a pull out couch with a double bed in the common area. There is a full kitchen and bathroom. Also available is a patio space with a barbecue (only in the summer) and 2 outdoor fire-pit areas that can be used all year.

Separate detached home all to yourself. This cabin boasts all the amenities of home, fully equipped kitchenette, large island with seating, and patio seating area out front. We are located next to the Selkirk Loop trails, oxbow swimming hole and a 2 minute drive from the regional airport and Selkirk College. This quiet area is surround by poplar trees and has a whole area near the river to explore, all within steps of the cabin.
