This was a great space for a large family getaway. Lots of room to gather together in common spaces/large table as well as the ability to spread out. Kitchen was well equipped with high end appliances. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Wifi was good in some parts of the house, but not all. Know that there may be stinkbugs depending on the time of year, but the house was overall very clean. Would recommend.

Connie is a great host and the 6-person house in Castleton was a wonderful retreat, just what we were looking for. The house was as fantastic as the photos show. Be sure to see their additional 'Grounds' photos on their website. The hottub was hot, clean and worked great (even in winter). During our visit, the donkey, miniponies, goats and ze-donkey were fun to watch grazing in the fields in the field on the other side of the backyard fence. Stargazing was great at night. A bbq grill was on back deck, and a propane tabletop social 'firepit' which was great for morning coffee hangout. A woodstove (& everything I need to get it started) was in the living room. We walked the paved 4+ mile loop to see more of their animals.

The views and peace are unmatched. Enjoyed the paved path to walk dinner off too! Very clean, great jacuzzi tub inside and hot tub outside. Very close to SNP. Full kitchen was nice. Deer entertained us every morning . Loved it all.

This house is large, every room spacious, and fit our crew of 5 families well. The warm saltwater pool with plenty of floaties and a hoop was a hit. And the many arcade games were so fun for the kids, as well as the movie theater. Adults enjoyed hanging on the deck and poolside. The house is set on a pretty hillside and isn’t far from necessities in town. Beautifully decorated and furnished.

Our girls weekend at Connie’s was everything we were looking for…and more! From the fire pit table to the hot tub, from the beautiful walking trails to the star gazing at night, it was the tranquil and peaceful environment we were looking for to get away, escape the business of life, and reconnect with each other and God! Connie was extremely responsive to any question I had while there (big or small). She was patient and helpful! 100% recommend this property and anything from Connie!!!

This was an awesome stay! The one thing I’d note is to be aware that when you book it’s in a wooded area. We had a run in with a harmless snake that got in the house, but were able to take care of it pretty quickly. There were also some hornets that got in the house. Just be aware that you’re in nature. Our crew of seven (+ 2 dogs) loved our time here! This was an experiment of sorts to go somewhere slightly remote with no major travel plans to spend quality time together and see how we could entertain ourselves. For our family and kids' ages (10-15), 3 days would have been perfect, but 4 was probably a little much. We were about fifteen minutes from the nearest retail area, but it included everything we could have ever needed. The little park at the front of the neighborhood was expansive and clean; we walked through the mining camp museum then played family wiffle ball + soccer on the football field before the kids did sand volleyball (my husband and I opted out of the sand lol). We loved we could bring our dogs without having to worry about any cat dander (several of us are allergic). The stairs were too steep for the dogs, so they were naturally contained to the middle floor. Only heads-up is that there were carpenter bees - not harmful, but definitely freaked the kids out.

Truly the photos don’t do it justice! 11 of us stayed and there was more than enough room. Clean, modern, new home and the hot tub was a blessing after a long day! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our wedding weekend! Thank you both.
