Outstanding cottage, would love to come back soon! The photos don’t do it justice! It’s even better when you’re there. Spotlessly clean, beautiful kitchen/dining room and comfortable bed. The views from the back garden were fab! I can’t recommend this enough, would have happily stayed there longer and will definitely return. It was a lovely gesture that Kate even baked for us!! We had a great time at Canny Brow Barn. Everything you could possible think of or need for your stay, Ian and Anne-Marie had thought about, from a cocktail shaker to cleaning products to games. Would highly recommend!

Another great stay at Belle Vue Barn. Gavin went 'above and beyond' and is a great host. A fantastic location, beautiful barn and a friendly host. An absolute must if you are visit the area or venturing further out in Yorkshire. Thank you.

We had a fantastic stay at Mary Meadows, the accommodation is just lovely and a great base for exploring the Lakes either by car or foot, the Aira Force waterfall is just a short walk away. Also a decent pub at the end of the lane. Joanne was a fantastic host, answered all our questions before and during our stay, and was really patient with us during the booking process. It’s nice to have a host that is personal and friendly. We definitely plan on staying here again on our next trip to the Lakes. Thanks Joanne

Me and my partner the best couple of nights at the stable and had some much needed time away. The cottage is in a great location with so much to do nearby in Northumberland whilst still being quiet and peaceful. Rachel was also a great host and we knew she would be there if we needed her. Great setting close to trough of bowland. Lovely to sit outside and watch the lambs while we ate our breakfast in the sun. Comfortable spacious accommodation and Ann was quick to respond to any questions / requests.

Lovely, cosy little cottage on a working farm. Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Gorgeous countryside views - loved watching the cows and sheep from the private balcony hot tub! We cycled 20 minutes to the nearest pub, the Milecastle Inn, which had great food, lovely staff and more beautiful views. The cottage is within walking distance of Hadrian’s wall too.

Reg and Lynn were wonderful hosts and the accommodation was beautiful. Lovely welcome pack, friendly hosts, perfect location - couldn't ask for more. Wish I was staying longer

Excellent AirBnB with great hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at this idyllic cottage. Location was excellent - easy reach of motorway, Lakes and Yorkshire Dales. Can't fault anything and certainly hope to be back in the future.

It was everything we had hoped for. Amazing views, I know everyone says that, but genuinely out of this world. The house is set out very well, Everything works as it should. Barry is very helpful. We had a great time, local suggestion would be the Shepherds rest pub for dinner at sunset,

Had a brilliant 3 nights away for my mum’s 60th birthday with 6 people and 2 dogs. Lisa’s place is in beautiful surroundings with a view you’ll never get bored of, very peaceful and with comfy beds meaning we all slept soundly even including one morning being woken up by the cows next door. Private garden with the hot tub and lawn games a very nice touch. Lovely welcome hamper with dog bowls and dog blankets also usefully provided. Place generally really clean. All in all a great trip and would definitely book again.

Beautiful property to relax and unwind with lovely surroundings and some good walks. Kev was responsive and friendly and we had no problems at all. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Lovely place to stay, make sure to read all the info the host has left as it all proved very useful. Very photogenic area and quite, recommend the Wednesday night Pizza van in Broughton Square and Blacksmith Arms. You'll have a great stay, thanks again Sue and Geoff.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at Crook a Beck Barn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. It is well equipped, with a great kitchen, plenty of wardrobe space and a large walk in shower alongside a large bath. It is in a peaceful setting with beautiful views and has all levels of walks available straight from the property. We enjoyed the extras especially the lemon drizzle cake made by Judith. We will definitely books this property again on our next visit to Patterdale.

Brilliant experience. Jonathan and family are super nice, the place is beyond immaculate, and especially as a family with small children, it has everything you could possibly need and more - one of the best equipped homes we've stayed at on AirBnB. From high chairs, to bed barriers, books, games, children's toys, it had everything we could need to make our stay comfortable and easy. The garden area is huge, with plenty for our kids to do; complete even with a resident chicken roaming the garden! The location is beautiful, surrounded by fells, and it's a short drive from Keswick. Thanks for a lovely weekend, and we hope to stay again in the future.

We had an incredible stay at this gorgeous barn! The setting is absolutely picturesque, with beautiful views in every direction — perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The barn itself is cozy, stylish, and full of charm. We especially loved the hot tub, which made the whole experience even more special. Everything was peaceful, quiet, and just what we needed to recharge. We would absolutely return and can’t recommend it enough!

Laurence & John’s home was so wonderful! It’s a cozy but very spacious converted historical farmhouse in a picturesque village. We stayed for 5 days and would certainly come back. There are great walks (and pubs) in the immediate area. Threlkeld is perfectly positioned to access Ullswater/Windermere & Derwentwater lakes (stunning drives). Cute kitchen with all the essentials. John was very helpful in recommending the best places to go. They’re both super friendly and charming. They really made our stay special and unique. So thank you guys, for a wonderful long weekend.

Place was exactly as described, really spacious perfectly laid out. Kitchen was well stocked allowing us to cook and have family meals. Great walk down to the local restaurant and enter the main city centre. Neighbours roundabout really friendly and recommended lots of lovely walks. Overall, a really great stay and will definitely be back
