This stay was perfect, the home was exactly as described, with plenty of room for our group. The river view was great! Everything was clean and accessible. Our host was fantastic. Was extremely responsive(even before booking). Made sure we had everything we needed and was very polite. This is probably one of the best host(s)/stay experiences I have had in years as far as value, quality, expectation, and host communications. We look forward to many more stays here! Me, my husband and two young kiddos had such a wonderful stay. We live right up the road, but had to find somewhere to stay while our house was getting worked on… Heather’s place had everything we needed to feel right at home. Truly felt like a “vacation”, even as lifelong locals! The house was sooo clean, the kitchen had everything I needed to make breakfast, lunch and dinner for my fam. My husband and sons loved walking down to the river to fish in the evenings. I spent so much time on the back porch swing– just a wonderful stay. So thankful we got to stay here!

Beautiful home with a pretty view. Very peaceful and quiet. I will come back to visit again if I’m near by. Love it!

Another great stay at the lake house! We had some inclement weather this time and Daniel was kind enough to stop by several times and keep us informed on the road conditions and even showed us a back way out since some of the low water bridges in the area were flooded. He went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and enjoyed our stay.

Heron house is amazing! Just sit on the patio and watch the river, or go down to the shore and put a hook in the water. It was so relaxing. The house itself is very well stocked with condiments and seasonings. There was a welcome snack basket, fresh flower bouquet, plus fresh milk in the refrigerator. Chris and Margo are absolutly the best hosts! Thank you so much for a great getaway!

We were there for a brief weekend getaway. The place was calm and quiet. We loved the place. Couldn't enjoy time in the river, the water was cold. We will go again in summer when the weather gets better.
