Mike was so friendly and accommodating. Stay bed was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our getaway. Property was private and in a beautiful neighborhood that was walking distance to the beach. Beach access was easy and well kept. Shops and stores were a short drive. Great spot! Great Host! This listing is exactly what you see and is perfect for one or two people. I loved the decor, it was very quiet, and the walk to the beach is 5 minutes on the nose (I timed it). I had a few questions and the hosts were very friendly with a fast response time. I loved the outdoor shower to rinse all the sand off. I would stay again and highly recommend.

Quiet, clean place with everything we needed. Comfortable bed and nicely furnished. We especially enjoyed the tree porch. Rhoda and her husband were welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Enjoyed our stay.

What a sweet place! It was decorated so cute with a beach theme. It was very peaceful and quiet. It looked out at the golf course so no traffic to disturb you. This place was very clean. It was a close walk to the beach and within a short distance to businesses and places to eat. The kitchenette area was small but amazingly supplied! The electric fireplace added some warmth and ambiance. Cathy also went out of her way to try to help us find an item I thought I’d left in the unit after we checked out. We’d happily stay there again if we return to Kitty Hawk!

JB and Chris’ place was extremely clean and looked as beautiful as the pictures! Everything was exactly as they stated which made for an extremely enjoyable visit!

A very spacious accommodation with private access and many amenities located halfway between the ocean and sound by a 10 minute walk in a comfortable neighborhood nestled among live oaks. Katharina and Jim were most gracious and informative hosts. We especially enjoyed the private deck and closeness to Duck.

From start to finish Richard was so kind and thoughtful. When the previous guests had to leave really early, he let us know we could check in early and he also inquired about what beverage we’d like waiting there for us after the long drive. We arrived to find, not just a bottle of wine, but also a meat/cheese/cracker tray and green seedless grapes. We really enjoyed them in the evening when we just wanted a little something to snack on. Richard really thought of everything; flashlights for night walks, walkie talkies, a Bluetooth speaker and anything you’d need for the beach. Two outside showers are there to take a complete shower or just spray off. The bathroom is also nice and big with plenty of linens; there’s even a bidet! (life-changing) Also, string lights on the deck made the outdoor space so beautiful at night. The walk to the beach was very short and the beach wasn’t overly crowded. Hands down, Richard’s place is our favorite Airbnb so far. We hope to be back next year!

We had a great time during our stay at Southern Shores. Harmony is a very nice, easy to find and clean place to stay. It is a perfect size for two to three people. It has a nice kitchenette equipt with fridge, microwave, dishes, pans and a hot plate for cooking, but no oven. It is a fairly long walk to the private beach, but there is a parking pass provided. Robert is very responsive to questions you may have. We definitely recommend Harmony and will stay again. Doug and Lora

Inga is an amazing host. We loved our stay for just one night and wished we had longer. Inga met us at the gate and helped us in because it was dark. Nothing seemed too much for her. We loved the s’mores kit for the kids and could have easily stayed for days.

This place was awesome! Perfect space for us, easy bike to the beach, right on the trail to the kitty hawk woods, and there’s a shared pool that was excellent. I hope to stay here again!

Such a perfect stay for the two of us and our pup! They had everything we could have needed, it was extremely clean, washer and dryer in unit if needed (we didn’t), and they had a book of all types of restaurants, things to do rain and shine, and even pet friendly recommendations! What stood out most was the unique decor and the photos of them and their family. You can tell they love the beach and want others to share in that love, truly. One small perk that was big to us was they even had a dog water and food bowl there ready to go, which we had forgotten and planned to make a trip to Walmart for. It’s the small things like that that make all the difference when traveling because things are always forgotten but they truly think of everything. They even checked in with us our first morning to make sure we had all we needed. 200% recommend!!

We loved our time at the “house and a half”, the space was lovely- had everything we need & the hosts even provided extras like beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels. They had great recommendations on food, and we were super close to everything (beach access, food, and beautiful spots for sunset). I definitely recommend staying here!
