Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce charmant chalet qui nous a permis de visiter les péninsules du Nord Ouest Islandais. Thorvaldur a été particulièrement compréhensif et prévenant lorsque nous avons eu du retard le jour du départ en raison de problèmes météorologiques. Encore merci et bonne continuation ! We stayed at Sigursteinn and Maria's camper on our 3rd and 4th last night in Iceland, after traveling Ring Road for 2 weeks. The camper was VERY clean and we embraced being at the location. We had what we needed to cook (inside the camper and was able to grill outside) and kids enjoyed sleeping in the bunkbeds. Maria provided so many suggestions on what to do in the area and we really enjoyed listening to the history about the area. She gave very clear instructions on how to get to the camper. My family and I lucked out by seeing the Northern Lights right from our camper. We heard it was rare to see all the colors we did in late August. I can only imagine how amazing it would be to see the Northern Lights from this property after August. Thank you Maria and Sigursteinn!!

Perfect cosy cabin to spend a few relaxing days in nature, well equipped with everything needed! And amazing spot for stargazing and northern lights chasing, far away from light pollution 🌌

Het huis ligt op een hoogte met prachtig uitzicht en wordt omgeven door land met relatief veel vogels. Veel plekken op Snaefellsnes zijn goed te bereiken. De laatste kilometers naar het huis zijn onverhard, maar een 4x4 is niet nodig. Er is een goed bed dat maar net in de slaapkamer past, de uitrusting is ruim voldoende. De wifi-gegevens op de site van Airbnb waren niet juist, maar stonden in het gastenschrift, dus dat was snel opgelost.

Wir haben ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit vielen kleinen Schätzen vorgefunden. wir haben Robben gesehen und die Sauna genossen! Der Ausblick zum Frühstück war phänomenal! die Gastgeberin ist eine Seele. danke dafür!

I recommend here! really nice and cozy house :) and the host is really kind. I could see big and amazing aurora here.

Das Haus war sehr wohnlich und gemütlich. Es gibt viel an den Wänden zu entdecken. Check in und Kommunikation war problemlos. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Würde jederzeit wieder kommen :)
