We had a wonderful stay at Col. Ranjeev Pradhan's Airbnb in Dharamshala. Very proactive from the time of booking the stay, he welcomed us with tea and coffee and, along with his wife, helped plan our day with a thoughtful itinerary and eatery suggestions. The home is a short walk from McLeod Ganj market, full of great food and shops. The Airbnb is on the upper floor (a few flights of stairs), while the hosts stay below—close by yet respectful of privacy. The 4-bedroom space was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Each time we entered or left, we passed their lovely garden, which added a beautiful touch. The kitchen had basic utensils, cutlery and plates, and toiletries and clean towels were provided. We also tried the breakfast menu—everything was fresh and delicious. Overall, it was a warm, hospitable stay. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place to stay with family or friends. Serene Sorrounding, on one side its mountains with snow and on the other side it's green fields. Well equipped with Good Speaker, Games, Books, Playing Chips and Bonfire Lovely Indian food and Barbeque. Please do plan and inform the requirements before hand itself, as it's cooked fresh. Also, there can be delay in prepartion of food. Above all, credit goes to Mashal and Sanjay, for making our stay as homely as possible.

We had awesome 2 night's stay at Sonali's place - Studio Indique. It's a very spacious studio apartment for 3 people and a huge bathroom. Nice little kitchen in the corner of the apartment to cook or heat. Spacious dining and living space, albeit it's studio apartment. It also has high-speed Internet and nice garden outside to chill out. No TV in the apartment to spend good family time, and we were very happy about it. There are grocery stores and cafes just outside the home stay. So, you can cook your essentials or try culinary skills. Sonali also suggested us few good restaurants around Dharamshala - Sakura (Japanese) and Mcloed Ganj - Hot Yak (Chinese and Tibetan), where we had lip smacking foods. I also celebrated my Wife's birthday at Sonali's place with a delicious cake from nearby cake shop and red wine to make it special. Also, my daughter had medical emergency at the midnight, and Sonali helped us with the hospital details and guided us until she recovered. Thaks Sonali :-)

We had a great time, it was a very easy stay, the balcony view is amazing! Very quirky layout of the space also. lots of small places to eat around and the walk is quiet easy. We faced no issues at all, and throughly enjoyed the stay. definitely coming back.

Staying with Vishal's parents was an absolute delight! They were warm, welcoming, and made us feel completely at home. The hospitality was exceptional, and every little detail was taken care of with genuine care. If you're looking for a cozy, homely experience, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!!

We had such a wonderful stay here! We stayed for two nights and the experience felt more like staying with family than at a rental. Our hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming and aunty, who made us lovely breakfast and even packed dinner for our bus journey when we left. They were so accommodating with our schedule, allowing us a very late check-in, and even after checkout, they let us leave our luggage at the house and come back later to freshen up before we continued our travels. Their kindness and hospitality truly made our trip special. We would love to come back and stay with them again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a homely and heartfelt experience!

Mr and Mrs Ajeet are a wonderful host. Their place matches the description and is clean and comfortable offering lovely views. The food prepared by aunty is simple , plentiful but tasty. Both Mr and Mrs Ajeet are friendly and approachable at all times and they were wonderful with our kid as well. Dalhousie gets cold and there are enough blankets . The bed was comfortable and bathrooms have geyser . The location is in a village, as mentioned in description, which is about 5 kms from main road. You have to pass through a army cantonment to reach the place but the entire route is narrow but tarred . They were also kind enough to offer our driver food, tea and a place to refresh. There is a bit of walk from parking to the house but Mr Ajeet will help with the luggage. Mr Ajeet is also very helpful with suggestions for sightseeing . We also got to know a lot about the village life and himachali pahadi life from the couple. I thoroughly recommend this homestay.

We had a great stay at Sanjiv's property during the India v England Test match. It was in an ideal location, 30 minutes walk from the stadium and with a open rooftop giving stunning views of the mountains and over Dharamshala - definitely pop up there around sunset! Sanjiv was a most friendly and responsive host (who speaks good English) and helped organise travel for me to go trekking at short notice when the cricket finished early. One minor point to be aware of - the GPS location pin on AirBnb wasn't accurate so I took a while to find the house. It's up a lane that leaves the main road to the right of Hotel Sajan / opposite 7 To 9 Needs.

I had an amazing stay! The location was perfect—close to everything I needed—and the view was absolutely stunning. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy my time there. I had so much fun during my visit and truly appreciated the warm hospitality. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible Airbnb nestled in the mountains, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and ensured that every detail was taken care of. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views. The home itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The decor was charming and added to the overall warm and inviting atmosphere. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special. They provided us with local tips and recommendations, which made our trip even more enjoyable. I would like to mention about Mishro Didi who truly made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, she was attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. She was always cheerful and approachable, making us feel comfortable and well-cared for. It was clear that she took great pride in her work, and her efforts did not go unnoticed. We can’t wait to return!

This place was wonderful. It was my first stop in India so the perfect place to settle in. It’s a short walk from McLeod Ganj and is surrounded by great amenities including a couple of great restaurants, a shop and a gym. The area is a great mix of Tibetan/Buddhist and Indian cultures. It’s wonderful! The view from the balcony is spectacular and the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. I was remote working so the work desk was ideal but trying to work without getting mesmerised by the view was hard 😂 The team couldn’t have done more for me including getting an Indian SIM card. Thanks guys. I’ll be returning and I can’t wait.

The best part of our stay was that we were treated as family members. It was one of the memorable stays that we had. We were looked after very well by Aunty and Uncle. We were timely assisted by Shubham whenever we required anything.

We were looking for a place away from busy Dharamsala that we could use as a base to explore the area and Ajit’s home fitted the bill perfectly. Located in Naddi, it is about 500m above Dharamsala and cooler. Accessing Dharamsala and McLeodganj was a breeze - if you have your own vehicle then no problem, else there are autos and taxis that ply from Dal Lake, which is an attraction close to Naddi.  The home itself is very nice. Very clean and neat and very thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen is well equipped with an induction stove, gas, refrigerator, water filter, utility vessels and some common grocery items needed for cooking. The view from the unit is amazing - it looks out onto some village homes in the distance on top of a hill with terraced fields in between and the show capped Dhauladhar peaks in the horizon. The unit is located in the second floor - accessed by 2 flights of stairs. So, if you have seniors in your contingent or someone with mobility issues, it is something to watch out for.  Ajit’s family - himself, wife and 2 young boys were amazing and most helpful with some our specific needs. Since Ajit has grown up in the Naddi area, he knows the place inside out and is happy to guide and help out.  Connectivity was one of the best we have had in Himachal - Vodafone works great and so does Jio. All in all - great value for money for your stay in the Dharamsala area - we would come back to stay - for the place, for the view, for the convenience and of course, Ajit and family - amazing folks! 

The apartment looked exactly the same as in photos, everything was right clean bathrooms, comfortable rooms, choice of books and board games for timepass and on the top of everything you could hear the river flowing nearby which is soothing at night. Host Surbhi is also a very nice person you don't feel like you are meeting her for the first time, she is very helpful. I recommend this place who wants to visit Dharamshala

We had a great time staying at Ahmiyat. It's a beautiful property with a farm and mountain view. We enjoyed cooking and eating together during our stay here, as it felt like a calming activity. Anshuman is a generous host, who helped us navigate to the correct property location, and nearby taxi service contacts. Kushal, the caretaker of the property, was also very helpful and prompt in providing us suggestions for travelling in and around Dharamshala, ensuring our stay here to be comfortable. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I'd recommend this property if you like serenity, and want to stay in a pretty property located slightly away from the town traffic.✨

Our stay was wonderful, and Arjun made it even better. The place was spacious, with beautiful interiors that felt warm and inviting—more like staying at a friend’s home than just a rental. It was also in a super convenient location, which made getting around really easy. Arjun was incredibly helpful and kind. For example, when we asked about nearby restaurants, he shared his personal favorite and even told us what to order. It’s rare to find that level of thoughtfulness. I’d absolutely recommend staying here. Everything about it was top-notch!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a property. Firstly, I must commend the beautiful and serene location of the accommodation. Despite being 2 km away from the market, the peaceful ambiance and scenic surroundings made it a delightful retreat. The tranquility of the area added to the overall charm of the stay. The room itself was spacious and impressively equipped with amenities, making my stay comfortable and convenient. However, I noticed that the mattress could use some improvement in terms of comfort. Enhancing the quality of the mattress would certainly elevate the guest experience. I must also highlight the exemplary hospitality extended by the hosts. They were incredibly accommodating and exhibited utmost politeness throughout my stay. Their warm demeanor added a personal touch to the experience, making me feel welcomed and value. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and appreciated the beauty and tranquility of the location, as well as the hospitality of the hosts.

The place is absolutely serene and aesthetically pleasing from every corner. The caretaker, Babli is friendly and helpful. I genuinely had the BEST time.

A Serene Haven in Dharamsala I recently stayed at Dunny Cottage, and it was an absolute dream! Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Dharamsala, the cottage offers stunning views of the mountains and a peaceful ambiance that’s hard to find anywhere else. The property is beautifully maintained, with cozy interiors that feel like a home away from home. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities one could need. The attention to detail in the decor added to the charm of the place. What truly sets Dunny Cottage apart is the exceptional hospitality. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. Shalini’s place matches exactly as illustrated through photos. The view of Dhauladhar range from the balcony is awesome. It’s located 10 mins from Dharamshala market and 30 mins from Mcleodganj square. I would recommend to stay in this area rather than Dharmshala or Mcelodganj as it’s more peaceful and serene with a stream just across the road. The kitchen is well equipped, though a microwave would have been a nice addition to help warm food. Each of the rooms have heaters which helped keep us warm during the initial rainy nights. The local spots recommended by Shalini were worth a visit. The only downside, as already stated in description, is that the apartment is on 3rd floor so not the best choice if you have elderly people with you. But for the views anyways residing on higher floor is recommended. We travelled with our 3 year old daughter and it was fine. Look forward to staying at her place in my visits to come.

This is one of the most beautiful & professionally managed home stays I have been to. - The location is really peaceful and scenic - In fact the room and amenities exceeded expectations - Himanshu was very proactive in his correspondence & professional in his management of the place - Would highly recommend this place
