The condo is in a great spot with some nice amenities. The tennis courts were empty, so it was easy to play if you wanted, and while I didn’t swim since it wasn’t the season, the pool looked like it would be nice in warmer weather. The location is perfect—close to Bay Drive with the wide sound-side walking path and an easy walk to the monument. There are three flights of stairs to get to the unit (this was mentioned in the listing, so I knew ahead of time). I didn’t mind at all, and the upside is no one above you and amazing views from the porch. The condo is simple but had everything I needed, and I was very comfortable. It’s also absolutely spotless—they clearly put a lot of effort into keeping it clean, which was so reassuring. Easily the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Thanks so much for hosting!

Barb was very kind throughout the booking process and provided additional pictures and information to assist with the check-in process. The little apartment was exactly as-pictured! Cute and quiet, right by the Nags Head woods. Public beach access is close by, and the location is incredibly convenient for all that OBX has to offer. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

We came across the Mermaid Cottage last minute on a quick getaway and it was the perfect spot to stay for us! Very eclectically decorated and a few steps away from the ocean 🌊. Also has a very nice, private porch with nice furniture for lounging. Jenni was an excellent and responsive host, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and cozy place when visiting Avon, NC.

John and Shelly were wonderful hosts, sincerely taking care of their guests. Their place is ideal for a family. It was very quiet, cozy, and spacious, surrounded by greenery. The beds and furniture were so comfortable. Everything was where it should be, such as towels, cooking ingredients, utensils, coffee, and even Jenga! We had an unforgettable vacation there. Thank you so much!

We had a great time. Very nice place. Much better than a hotel. The host was extremely helpful. This was the first Airbnb for us and we would do this again. We enjoyed the area and it helped to have a tremendous place to stay.

This was the second time I stayed here. It was great just like the first time. This time around I brought my Mom along from Germany. It was again a most lovely place and we felt very comfortable and had a great time on the outer banks. Noreen's place was a perfect starting point for that! I would love to come again.

Such a peaceful and easy week at the OBX! Everything we needed and comfortable stylish surroundings. Absolutely recommend. Hosts are lovely and very responsive. Location 10/10. Easy walk to beach. Mom’s is such a fun place as well. Can’t recommend enough.

We had no issues while staying at Alex’s place. Alex responded in a timely manner to any questions that I had. Clean, comfortable, and cozy would describe it. Mini pool was ready and the hot tub was enjoyable. Plenty of sight seeing things are 20-40 minutes away. We had bikes delivered right to the door and enjoyed that. Beaches are great and so was the off road beaches. Homes are spaced apart enough that there’s enough room. The neighbors dog is sweet and playful and we enjoyed that. Would love to stay here again in the future.

First thing I noticed walking in was the beautiful colors on the walls. The house was decorated so well, we felt welcomed and comfortable. We love vacationing down here and will be looking forward to staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this home very nice neighborhood, nice clean home, places to visit were close by. Definitely will be booking again for next summer☺️ highly recommend staying here.

We verbleven 2 nachten in de winter in het huis van Debbie. We vonden het geweldig. We voelden ons echt thuis. 3 volledige slaapkamers en heerlijke binnen- en buitenruimtes. Achteraf hadden we langer moeten boeken in dit huis. In dit gedeelte van de Outer Banks is in de winter voldoende open. Meer naar het zuiden was veel meer dicht.

We loved our week at Monika's place. We visted Cape Hatteras (the lighthouse is undergoing repairs), the Wright Brothers National Memorial, Jockey's Ridge State Park (beautiful sunset) and we did daily hikes around Nags Head Wood Preserve, which is a very short walk from the house. We also had some great food and enjoyed the available bicycles.

I had a wonderful day at Nora’s beach cottage! Will definitely be coming back! So much care went into the home and is extremely clean, which I really appreciated!

Alina's home was a wonderful getaway. The house was up to date with all of the amenities you would need from cooking utensils to a washer and drier as well as all cleaning products. This home is situated away from the busy four lane highway, next to a trail that goes along the bay. It was located in next to the beach and any restaurant and stores one would need.

Condo was in a great convenient location. Very spacious. We did a lot of sight seeing so didn’t spend a whole lot of time on site but it accommodated all of our needs!

The calm waves is super cozy and has everything a family with young kids needs (including some toys and baby proofing). It is in a great location that feels very family friendly and short walk to the beach and restaurants. This was our second stay and we hope to visit again!

Exactly as expected, pictures say it all! Very clean, easy to communicate with the host, well appointed condo. With 4 kids, it can be tough to find something everyone likes to do, no problem with the recommendations and coupons! Thank you!! Martin was a super responsive host. Anything we needed he was there to help. The place was gorgeous and in a really nice location. The unit was right next to the pool and tucked away from the main road. The pool was nice and it wasn't too crowded when we went. If you look really close you can see the ocean from the private balcony. Parking wasn't an issue for us. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Would 100% recommend staying here if you don't want to be right on the beach but close enough that it takes 3 minutes to drive the the beach access. Overall, this was the perfect place for our girls trip.

What a great location! We could walk everywhere we needed to go and we were pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of the rental, the pictures do not do it justice! We would definitely rent this property again in the future.

We had a wonderful time at Ruben’s place! The location was easy to find and had plenty of parking. We visited the pool every day after the beach and it also had ample seats and tables. There is a nice walking path through the neighborhood, tennis courts and the view from the patio is gorgeous at sunset. The condo itself was clean and as described in the photos. Check in was simple and we felt very safe there. Would absolutely stay here again. If you bring bikes it’s an easy ride to the beach, mini golf and the local Publix.
