What a fab house this is. We stayed for 6 weeks and did not want to leave. Jo was always on hand if we needed anything but the house is so well set up that we rarely did. The location is fab on a quiet back street but a COOP, Indian and nice bar all within a few mins walk. The house is really well presented and has everything you’d need for a short or longer stay. The hot tub is a great addition and the garden feels really private. All the bedrooms are a great size and perfect for couples. I can’t rate this place highly enough! Full 5 stars from us!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is finished to a high spec and in a great area. there are plenty of dog friendly places to eat and drink within easy walking distance and we found the locals to all be very friendly and chatty.. our big dog is like a celebrity wherever we take him so that's always a conversation starter! For other dog owners - the yard is VERY secure and you can enjoy the sauna and hot tub without worrying about them. There are light coloured carpets in some rooms downstairs but I had read that on previous reviews so bought many blankets and towels to cover the floor where the dogs would walk and lie.our dogs wouldn't go to the toilet on the yard and the grassy area isn't enclosed from the owners area so we made sure we had them on a lead. Not really an issue but I didn't realise the garden wouldn't be enclosed..only mentioning it to help others. We didn't get to meet Scott but when I had a question he was always super quick in replying .will definitely be back

Thank you very much. We all had a great stay. Everything we needed was at the house. Went with kids and they loved the games and toys available. Lots near by to keep us busy. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely little getaway with walkable village pubs, farm shops and trails! Lovely and attentive host, a stunning property and peaceful environment. Will definitely be staying here again, and recommending to others!

A truly wonderful and peaceful stay. The amenities were excellent—everything you could need to feel right at home. It’s the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle, with acres of open land for long strolls and scenic walks up the hill. There were plenty of board games to keep both kids and adults entertained throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing escape. Pam was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and very responsive.

excellent little get away in a little hut in the welsh hills. - the hot tub was spotless. - the bed was comfy. - the space was perfect, had everything you needed. - private and not pestered by the owner. -walking distance to a great village shop and pub! -great walk up Hatterrall Hill - perfect watching the stars in your own hot tub or near ur firepit. loved it! thanks Joey!

Fabulous little cottage in the garden, just what we wanted. Julie was a wonderful hostess, made us feel very welcome, basic necessaties all there on arrival even fresh flowers. Already recommended to friends and family.

We had the best time at this lovely cottage. Comfy and cosy with everything we needed for our stay. Parking was never an issue, even over the bank holiday weekend. The location cannot be beaten, everything right on your doorstep! Nicky was a fab host, very helpful and communicative with some great recommendations/tips. Thank you so much! Unser Aufenthalt mit zwei Familien (vier Erwachsene und drei Kinder) war ganz hervorragend! Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und auch ein kleines Problem mit den Parkplätzen (unser Problem, nicht das der Unterkunft) wurde sofort und vollkommen problemlos gelöst. Super … 👍🏼 Das Haus liegt ruhig, die Ausstattung ist wie beschrieben und die Zimmer und Bäder sehr sauber. Der Kontakt vor Ort war so herzlich, dass man sich sofort willkommen und „zuhause“ fühlte“. Vielen Dank für die Zeit bei Euch…!

Small , private, comfortable and well equipped property. Parking area adjacent. Lovely enclosed gardens so our young dog was safe and able to play with owners own dog. Hosts were delightful, warm and welcoming. Milk, tea, coffee, sugar provided along with a bottle of cider. We loved our stay and hope to return one day.

The property was beautiful and the setting is idyllic. We had everything we could need and it was lovely that Andrea and Sally allowed my 3 dogs as many others only allow 2. We will definitely be booking a return visit !

I stayed with Mike and Bert for two weeks while a house sale went through, I brought with me my high maintenance Bengal cat Kevin Bacon. During our stay Mike has gone out of his way to accommodate us, the accommodation is completely separate and lockable, I felt completely safe, I knew Kevin was secure and didn’t see any red flags. Mike is laid back and approachable, the perfect host. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything I have needed has been included with no extra costs or limitations. Bert is a very good boy and has been trained properly, he doesn’t go upstairs but he will bring you a shoe each time he sees you as a greeting, Bert was completely safe around Kevin when I took Kevin in the garden. There is easy parking at the accommodation and lots to do in the area, lots of walks, castles, stepping stones over rivers, sand dunes, beaches, horse riding and a decent selection of Pubs. If I ever end up homeless again I will be coming back! Thank you.

After a rocky start to the weekend, we found this gem of a flat. Hosts were amazing and Heather was so welcoming. The flat is so peaceful and has everything you could need. Maybe some curtains in the living area would be useful. The small little touches such as milk, teas and coffees were a lovely surprise. We will definitely be booking this when we are visiting Manchester next.

We stayed as a family of 7 (6 adults and a toddler) and two dogs for two nights over the May bank holiday weekend. We had a lovely time. The cottage was clean and comfortable and has a very well equipped kitchen. Didi was very helpful and the check in instructions were clear. We used it as a base to visit Burford and Burton. We ate at the Wheatsheaf pub/hotel one evening which Didi recommended, would recommend. There is a lovely park a few minutes walk away which our toddler enjoyed and plenty of green space for dog walking. Parking was quite easy to find in the village, we had three cars between us and didn’t struggle to find parking. Would happily return. Thanks Didi, great host.

We had a lovely stay at Ann’s house. We arrived to a generous welcome packet of essentials and snacks and two lovely bottles of Prosecco. The house is old with lots of character but the facilities are modern and work well. We stayed at the end of April but the pool was heated for us and we used it every day, we were thankful for the hot tub to warm up on the more overcast days! The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with plates and glasses for entertaining and the Aga and bbq worked well. If you have small children I would recommend bringing plastic crockery as there wasn’t much of that. We would definitely look to come back if we are in the area.

We had a wonderful stay. Impressive pool, garden furniture and landscaping to make the most of the sun. Ideal location for touring local sites. Izzy and partner were very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely place to stay with great facilities. Super host. Loved the small touches such as the access to children’s toys and wine on arrival. Fantastic views . We loved that we could watch the animals. The place felt very private and was in a great location to visit nearby towns. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This was our third stay at Lois’s place, albeit the first in the eco house, as opposed to the barn. The house was both comfortable and quirky, qualities we have come to expect from our charming and artistic hosts. Unusual pictures, books, design features - one is entertained at every turn, while the leafy surroundings (the beautiful garden and driveway as well as Redland Green itself) make it all worthwhile. Lois or her husband Paul are always on hand to help you with any questions and have a chat with you at the same time. We heartily recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for something a bit different and off the beaten track yet within walking distance of decent shops, cafés and restaurants.

The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

We had a lovely weekend staying at Serendipity to visit the Christmas markets in York. The place has everything we needed and more and Rachael had kindly left the heating on for us so we were super cosy when we arrived in the evening too. Very comfortable bed with great pillows and a great power shower - the all important things! Also a lovely extra touch with some treats for us and the dogs, plus milk, tea and coffee. Our 8 year old loved the addition of the XBOX and extra toys to play with too! Thank you so much Rachael! Helen, Dave, Fin, Olive & Gus x

Had the most wonderful 3 nights in Cow Pen Cottage. Perfect location with a fantastic farm shop (Cobbs) next door selling fabulous top quality local produce to make wonderful breakfasts with. Wendy was so helpful, giving very clear instructions and points of interest to visit. The cottage is quaint & full of character but still has all the mod cons necessary. Wendy gave us a lovely warm welcome with strawberries & prosecco and chocolates by the bed. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean and a very welcome addition each day. There were so many attractions within a very short drive and that made Cow Pen Cottage the perfect base to explore Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds. We will definately be back some day.
