Welcome to Trout River Log Cabin, a rustic 19th century Norwegian-built log house nestled in the rolling hills of Northeast Iowa, just seven miles from downtown Decorah, or three from TG Brewing. The cabin is open seasonally from April to October. Our family farm with its many acres of perennial grass fields, timber, and meandering Trout River is absolutely gorgeous. The cabin is on a 3 acre pond with good fishing and a sand beach, boats and kayaks are available for use. There is also a covered shelter with picnic tables and an extra bathroom and shower, all in the shelter . A secluded area - 1/4 mile private driveway. New in 2016.
