The apartment is on the grounds of our main family residence but is completely separate with it’s own private entrance, accessed through the garden gate. We are located in a quiet cul-de-sac just over 5 minutes drive from York city centre and York Racecourse and we are also situated on a direct bus route to both city centre and racecourse. We love hosting through Airbnb and we look forward to meeting you and your guests!

Ideal for a quiet getaway for couples who want the peace of this beautiful village but to have historic York only 4 miles away. With easy access to York by car, bus, cycle track or (in the summer months) riverbus, you can explore the city’s history or the beauty of the surrounding countryside. This one-bedroomed cottage is well-equipped and private, with the owners next door for information or advice on your visit.

Church Cottage lies in 2 acres of landscaped gardens in the beautiful village of Escrick, 6 miles from the centre of York. The building dates back to 1850 and is also home to an award-winning Thai restaurant. The Garden Room at Church Cottage is a large, ground floor bedroom with en-suite toilet/shower room and kitchenette. There's a super king-sized bed, unshared outside seating and lovely views of the garden.
