You will have your own private dock for wading, swimming, fishing and other water activities. This lighthouse style home is situated on 3 private acres and has 3 water views: the Creek, the Chesapeake Bay and the Rappahannock River all which can be viewed from the wrap @ deck and top observation lookout. Enjoy the sunrise at this unique and tranquil getaway! This property was originally a seafood processing facility...hence The Crab Shack! Watch all the action on the water right out the front door with local waterman in and out of beautiful Carter's Creek to and from the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. There are marinas and The Tides Inn very close by. This property provides privacy and a short 10 minute drive to nearby restaurants and shops in Irvington, Kilmarnock, and White Stone.

(Winter: Stargazer has a diesel heater and a woodstove but is not insulated. The cabin can be kept quite warm into the low 30's if these heaters are running. Below freezing may freeze pipes, message for info) Rustic off grid tiny cabin tucked in the trees on the back side of a large field. The cabin has solar, kitchenette, shower, composting bathroom, heat, and Wifi! Enjoy being immersed in nature while staying comfortable in a quirky cabin built from local and reclaimed materials.

The studio apartment(above main house) is a short walk to the beach (which is on the property.) Studio is fully furnished including linens, towels, hairdryer, pots, pans, etc. Coffee shops and restaurants within a mile, marinas are less than a mile to launch your boat. Fabulous views of the Bay, full kitchen, spacious bath and your own private back yard. There is a dock to fish from or sit and watch the sunrise and set. There is also a small beach. Dog friendly , sorry no cats.
