Adrian was such a friendly and approachable host. Was extremely helpful in ensuring I had breakfast outside of the breakfast time. As a lone guest he really made me feel at ease. Really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay again.

Sharon accommodated us very last minute & made us feel very welcome throughout our 5 day stay. The accommodation is quite small, but the location is really lovely, on the edge of the Peak District. Lots of walks and lovely pubs nearby.

Great value place for a family of five. And comfortable beds for all. Described as a room, it's more of a little apartment with two bedrooms and a living area with sofa bed. Everything we needed was there. Corinne was friendly and served us a delicious freshly prepared breakfast. Being able to arrive when we liked was a bonus too! Perfect stopover for our trip up north. Thank you.

On our first visit to the area and first use of airbnb we chose to stay at The Bulls Head Hartshorne enticed by the price, photographs and reviews. The pub was easy to find with ample parking. We were greeted by David who couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay, assisting in the arrangement of taxis to and from a local gastro tapas bar. We had a fabulous lunch before returning to the pub to then have an equally fabulous evening meal. Beccy, the host, greeted us and engaged with us in a lengthy chat about mutual interests that added to the overall enjoyment of our short stay. Both she and David (who works for Beccy) provided a warm and welcoming experience so often lacking in larger B&B/guest house establishments. The room was exactly as described allowing for a restful nights sleep before a huge full English breakfast to set us up for our journey home. We will definitely be returning.

Het is een geweldig huisje, brandschoon en rustig gelegen aan de rand van Buxton., Marie is een fantastische gastvrouw; heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vanuit het huisje zijn er meerdere routes te bewandelen, naar mooie dalen, idyllische heuvels en het charmante Buxton. Op loopafstand bevindt zich een nieuwe supermarkt. Ik kom zeker nog eens terug!

fantastic stay , super easy check in, very clean tidy rooms. The pubs food is phenomenal, proper rustic homemade pub grub!! 10/10 highly recommend!! I'll be back 🤌

The accommodation is set in a lovely, peaceful village. The accommodation itself had everything we needed. Many walks are nearby, within a reasonable driving distance. It was also extremely helpful having access to the garden for the dog. Would stay again.

Right on the edge of Hope with great view of Mam Tor and Peveril Castle.

What an incredible place! The cottages are absolutely beautiful— really cozy, and set in the most picturesque little village. We came for a chilled girls weekend and it was everything we hoped for and more. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly—we’re already planning to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! The place was really clean, well thought out with everything you need for your stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to have an enjoyable break exploring with their four legged friends!! 🐾

Stunning property that was tucked away and felt very private. Close to lots of walking routes and an easy drive to lots of nice restaurants. Elaine provided very detailed instructions on how to arrive which were very helpful and there was lots of information in the accomodation about local amenities. We loved our visit, Elaine was an excellent host and we would highly recommend this property

Although we came to the area to attend my brother’s funeral we felt very relaxed.

Once again had a lovely stay in Tracey’s garden annex As always everything first class ! Tracey is a very approachable lady and responsive and friendly. She keeps the annex beautifully clean and the surrounding garden is well tended tidy and colourful !! Look forward to returning each time we stay ! Thankyou Tracey Sheila Cosford

Donna’s place was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous cottage in a beautiful, scenic location. Donna is an excellent host and was incredibly helpful! On arrival at the cottage there’s nothing she hasn’t got covered and is only a message away if there’s anything you need! We will definitely be back and hopefully for longer next time! This space was exactly what we were after for a long weekend in the Peak District. The place was beautifully decorated, had every amenity we needed in the kitchen and bathroom (including jams, honey, oats), and Justin provided us with the most thorough and detailed welcome pack we'd seen. Also, SO grateful for blackout curtains and LOVED the hammock and swinging chair to relax in the sun at the end of the day. Thanks so much Justin, would definitely recommend 😊

Oak cottage was everything we expected and more, fantastic location, amazing views. The cottage was brilliant, a lemon drizzle cake and treats for the dogs on arrival. We will definitely be returning next year, 10 out of 10 for me

The whole place was spotlessly clean and everything supplied was of a high standard. The eggs, bacon, bread, orange, milk and butter along with tea, coffee , biscuits and cereal provided meant we didn’t have to nip out to the shops to buy anything or bring those items with us. We enjoyed the whirlpool bath and the log burner in the evening and loved all the attention to detail with the lighting . The view was beautiful and garden and outdoor seating were an added feature. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again.

Just returned from a great 4 day break away at this lovely Airbnb. Mel & Jeff made us very welcome and were very friendly as was Stanley their little dog. The accomodation was A-MAZ-ING, so stylishly decorated and immaculately presented and very comfortable too. It was very well equipped and was situated perfectly for us to visit Donington Historical Racing event. The location was very good and extremely quiet even with a Pub/Restaurant fairly near which by the way did excellent Ales and Food. We felt very at home and a little sad that our stay couldn't be a bit longer, but we would love to come to this wonderful holiday home again. Thank you for letting us enjoy your GEM of a home and providing us with such a relaxing environment. Fabulous time at The Chimes from start to finish. Many thanks both.

We have just left from a lovely 2 night stay, it’s a beautiful quirky place. A great place for an adult weekend away! The decor is fantastic, the bar area and games room is brilliant, lovely area, relaxing garden and views! Hot tub was lovely! Cosy cinema room and lots of information on nearby places to visit etc! We was so lucky with the weather too which made it even better! But the place in general was just brilliant! We would definitely stay again! Daniel was quick as responding to any questions. Thank you for a lovely stay! ☺️

We really enjoyed our stay in the Coach House. The property was just as advertised and the gardens and surrounding scenery was beautiful. Jennifer was a great host, really receptive to messages and gave clear and straight forward directions as we were arriving quite late on our first night. The welcome gifts of local produce were really thoughtful and much appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs while we were there and the space was open and fresh whilst still feeling cosy. The property had everything we needed, we’d be happy to stay again in the future ☺️

The cottage is set in a lovely location with great views from the private outdoor seating area. The cottage itself is clean and homely, with a gorgeously comfortable bed and clean en-suite bathroom. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We made use of the jigsaw puzzles provided and enjoyed being able to walk some of the beautiful trails without having to get into the car. The parking area is a generous size too.
