The Cablet at Howville

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on Boyer Lake. This Cablet “tiny cabin” is situated on our home property of 16 acres on a state game refuge. We have wildlife including bald eagles and deer. There are hammocks and a unique 9 hole disc golf. Access to the lake for fishing, boating, and kayaking. The Cablet has electricity, heat, A/C, microwave, Keurig coffee pot, mini fridge, and an outdoor porta potty. There is no shower. Picnic table, outdoor chairs, and fire pit/wood provided.

It is perfect for a family getaway or small gathering of friends, or for traveling employees. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, access to washer/dryer, fully loaded kitchen, and other basic amenities will make you feel right at home. Spacious yard for yard games and relaxing!!

Enjoy a private, main floor, three room suite with private off street parking and private entrance. No stairs to climb, just a ramp onto the deck entrance. You will have a living room with a couch, recliner, TV and small dining table. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a well stocked kitchenette. The ensuite provides a closet, plenty of shelving, storage cabinet and a full bathroom with apartment size combination washer & dryer. We'd be happy to share our back deck with you as well.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.
