Coming to DC by myself, and only having about 24 hours to explore the city, I couldn't have been happier with my choice of Airbnb! I didn't get to meet Bruce, but he was always responsive, helpful, and friendly when I messaged him. Vania was such a kind and gracious host! She goes out of her way to make sure you have a restful experience, customized to what you want to get out of your stay. She made the most tasty and beautifully presented breakfast for me, made recommendations based on what I wanted to see, and was a pleasure to talk to. Bruce and Vania were so flexible with check-in and check-out and made everything a breeze. The room was cozy and comfortable and the neighborhood felt completely safe and walkable. I'm already convincing friends that they need to go to DC and stay here!

El alojamiento de Gary fue muy cómodo limpio, excelente ubicación y seguro. Gary fue muy amable, nos brindó un delicioso desayuno al día siguiente, su casa histórica es preciosa. La habitación completamente cómoda, además de la limpieza y comodidad, nos dejó en la habitación 2 botellas de agua y mentas para mi esposo y para mi, detalles que hicieron una excelente experiencia. Si volvemos a Washington seguro regresaremos a este lugar, muchas gracias por todo 👍🏻

Nice place to stay for a few days

David was a fantastic host. We felt completely at ease for our 6 nights of stay. It was a clean place with all the needed amenities such as heater, AC, iron & iron board etc which we needed for our work associated stay. What I liked the most was access to Netflix & Amazon Prime on the two TV screens. We could unwind after long day of work in leisurely fashion. The overall experience definitely made it feel like home away from home! :)

This stay was one of my favourite AirBnB experiences. The accomodation is lovely and gorgeous but the highlight was the people! It felt like visiting family - it was genuinely as if I was visiting my favourite uncle getting to share stories and opinions in a non judgemental space. Phil is himself a hidden DC gem! I would recommend this place if you are visiting Washington for any occasion. I will definitely be going back!

We had a wonderful stay! Our host Mr Mitchell made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived—so warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and we really appreciated the great recommendations on what to see and do around the area. It truly made our trip extra special. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a lovely time! We rode the GAP and C&O Canal trails and ended in Georgetown - this was so close to Mile marker 0 and has a LOVELY French restaurant next door. We were able to celebrate our accomplishment (and my birthday) in a truly special way. Thanks again for having us!

We love this gem of an inn in Dupont! The Swann house is chicly decorated and perfect for couples, families, or solo travelers. Breakfast was delightful and it was lovely to meet others who were also seeking a unique experience in DC. The metro is a convenient 8 minute walk and there are plenty of restaurants within a 20 min walk. Our room on the third floor was quiet and so very comfortable. It rained during our stay and we were excited to skip out on our museum plans and come back to the room/house to cozy up. Christine is an exceptional hostess and we feel very grateful to have found the Swann House. See you soon!

I enjoyed staying with Ruben and his son. The home is located in a nice row house neighborhood. The bedroom and bath are large and modern. The Metro station, restaurants, and grocery store are around a 15 minute walk or you can take a bus which is 5 minutes away. I would stay there again.
