Had a beautiful stay in this cottage; perfect if you are looking for something peaceful and quiet. The views are extraordinary and the hosts are extremely responsive. Highly recommend!

Nichi was great to deal with from booking through our entire stay. He did cook dinner for us upon arrival, which was very tasty. The house is quite secluded and sits on a cliff overlooking the ocean. An amazing view! The wrap around porch is where we spent a good amount of time enjoying our morning coffee and an evening beer or two after exploring the island. The location is remote relative to a lot of the popular activities, so plan a little extra driving time. Access to groceries is limited in the area as well, so you may want to plan on getting to Roseau early on to load up. Highlights of the island include Batibou Beach and Middleham Falls. Spanny Falls (+ a 2nd “secret” falls a few minutes deeper in) was nice because there were not many people. Titou Gorge and Emerald Pool were both nice as well, which we checked out later in the day to avoid crowds. If you are an adventurous traveler into exploring amazing natural attractions off the beaten path, this fits the bill.

Nick’s place is incredibly clean & comfortable with a lovely view. It’s close to nice beaches, the chocolate factory and the sweet little village. We really appreciated the little shop on the corner for bits & pieces we needed. What stood out the most was the Conroy, the manager. He was really kind and takes really great care of the apartments. He checked in a few times and made us feel very at home.

My husband, 9-year-old daughter, and I all enjoyed our weeklong stay at the Hillside House in Méro. We had everything we needed and more than enough space. Our local contact Mike was very helpful and welcoming. The house features both US and UK style outlets, so that was an unexpected bonus. The shared pool area was refreshing and a lovely place to chill out in addition to the veranda. This is a good central home base on the west coast, with day trips ranging from 30-60 min each way. Sunday is a popular day for locals to enjoy Méro Beach, so be sure to walk down and see it at its most festive. Otherwise, we tended to have the beach to ourselves. Tips: If you fly in to Douglas-Charles, do *not* take Google Map's recommended route via the Layou River Rd. Opt for Warner Rd to the south or the northern route through Calibishie instead. S-Mart is a better grocery store than the Big W. Faves: Extreme Dominica, Lacou Melrose House, Ti Kwen Glo Cho + lunch @ Le Petit Paradis, Indian River

Nicks place is beautiful with amazing views over black sand Hodges Bay Beach and has many things to see and restaurants within a nice walk it local driver Pascal is a local charm. Little market less than 5 minute walk. Nick is very responsive and the place exceeded expectations. Thank you!

Our stay was wonderful! The house was very clean, spacious, well appointed, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The pool was lovely. The house was a short drive to restaurants. Even before check in, the hosts were very responsive to questions. And during our stay, the hosts were extremely helpful in providing suggestions for things to do. I would highly recommend staying here!

The location in Calibishie on a cliff overlooking the bay was incredible! Our local host Kelvin was very helpful and available to assist with whatever we needed. If you're looking for a great place to stay at a reasonable price, Bel Lavi Villa is hard to beat!

The house was perfect for a girls getaway … close to town and lots of beautiful adventures nearby. The sunsets were amazing and the house had all the amenities we needed for a comfy stay. Great location!!

We had a lovely stay at the villa, it was spacious and peaceful. Edris the cleaner came in regularly to clean and was always polite and helpful. The pool was great and much needed due to the hot weather. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this villa and would advise arranging a car for your stay so that you can explore the island. The kitchen was fully equipped and the villa is in a lovely setting and has beautiful gardens and views. I would happily stay here again and cannot wait for my next visit to Dominica.

It is hard to describe how beautiful this place truly is! The house, landscaping and stonework is artful and welcoming. The furniture and beds were quite comfortable, having AC in the bedrooms was a plus. We loved waking up, and sitting on the patio by the pool and watching the waves crashing on the rocks in the distance. The view is stunningly breathtaking and the beach is a short walk down the path. The house had everything we needed. It was also fun to see Molly , the resident dog, who is sweet and friendly! We welcomed her presence. Dominica is a special place and the people are SO kind and friendly. We were sad to leave, and hope to come back!

Nous avons passé 3 jours dans ce magnifique logement. L'accueil était au rendez-vous. Nous avons choisit ce cottage sans connaître l'île. Quelle fût notre surprise de constater qu'il est à 2h00 de la capitale. Cependant, c'est un lieu très discret, intimiste, calme loin, certe, mais sans que cela ne soit dérangeant si vous avez bien entendu une voiture de location ou encore mieux un chauffeur privé, cela a été notre choix durant les 3 jours (sachez que les domicais conduisent vites et à gauche). Merci encore pour ce moment hors du temps que nous avons passé, mon mari et moi. La Martinique vous remercie
